Oddly enough, most of these happened 🤣 Jeanette did a dance to a live performance with Cathy’s team. They sang in the wings, though. They did a group dance about different religions where Nia did a spoken word piece (kind of like Goodbye Mya). Luckily, it wasn’t nearly as offensive as it could have been. Hannah also did a solo in Season 8 and there was a group dance in Season 8 that involved religion and crosses. Presley did a solo about being Possessed, and they also had a Possession solo on AUDC. There was a sad clown small group. And a creepy clown group dance. Cathy’s team did a “Build the Wall” dance that they tried to make sound not political, but it definitely was 🤣 Brynn did a Star Wars solo They did an overweight dancer group number on AUDC. They did a group dance called Q with a storyline involving and LGBTQ+ character, and The Prom in Season 8 features a lesbian couple. They did a “Girl in the Plastic Bubble” group dance that kind of had cancer ward vibes. Jojo and Kendall did a Freaky Friday themed duet where they swapped personalities. They did a Madonna group dance where every girl had a different “era” costume on. They did a Wizard of Oz number with Kenzie as Toto.

Christi is amazing! I remember when Chloe was at nationals with studio 19 at Kalahari, I met Christi and Chloe in their dressing room and my little 12 year old heart was so happy and they were beyond sweet to me and didnt rush me away❤

Boy, do I have some news for you! 😂 Ironically, Jeanette actually did a live singing performance with Cathy's team after you left! They had a chorus singing off stage (behind the curtains to the side)! 😂 Also, Abby did a "Girl in the Plastic Bubble" group dance AND she did the bullying group dance where the lead was in a fat suit on AUDC! And you're gonna love this one: Abby did do the Wizard of Oz dance with MacKenzie as ToTo! ☠️ So, it looks like the producers did make *some* of those ideas materialize! 😭

I think the voguing was either wax madonnas or Beautiful Bizarre. They focused on religion in Something to Believe in for seaso;5 and the Exorcist solo was in season 8. They did Star Wars in season 6 for Brynn. Girl Crush was done in Season 8 for Prom. They also did the Wizard of Oz but Mackenzie was Toto that was for the commercial they did with Toddrick.

Brynn did a solo as Princess Leia if I remember right. If they’d done a group star wars piece it would probably turn into Maddie being Leia, Mackenzie being Luke, Kalani would be Vader is the most beautiful elegant black costume, Kendall would likely be Hans Solo and Nia a Wookie (we all know Abby would do this just to spite Holly). If Chloe had been around still I think Abby would make her something dumb like R2D2 or C3PO… she might choose Yoda if she was in a good mood that day

I’m pretty sure they were meant to do a teen pregnancy dance as well and I’m like 95% sure Abby protested against it …. But I mean some dances were done like the clown dance was kind of done in season 6 and Brynn did a Star Wars solo. Finally they did Wizard of Oz which was actually a dance for an advert for AldcLa and Mackenzie was ToTo. Also love the videos and podcast Christi

I think Princess Leia would have definitely been giving to Maddie and the Wookie would have been Kenzie, Brooke would have been the golden robot. Those producers who came up with the concept of the childhood obesity solo with an overweight dancer & the cancer ward group dance are really going to be holding up the line at the pearly gates during judgement day 😭. Also in Season 6 there was rumors production wanted to do a Teen Pregnancy solo that apparently caused Abby to walk out which is weird considering she had the girls doing a Showgirls number & being drug addicts at nationals 😭.

No real spoilers (since you’re going to watch the rest of the episodes for the podcast) but : - Another studio danced to live singers in season 5. - A dancer in season 8 does an “Exorcist” style solo where she is possessed, and you nailed it, she has “vomit” on her nightgown. 😳 - Two group clown dances happen; one in season 5 and is supposed to be kind of sad, the other is in season 7 and is just meant to be creepy. And another group dance in season 7 is about the subject of suicide, but has nothing to do with clowns. - A lightly-themed Star Wars dance happens in season 6. It’s a solo, and the dancer is meant to be Princess Leia. - While no Game of Thrones dance happens, there is a similar-style group dance where two dancers are battling queens. - While not about a plague, there is a season 5 group dance about a disease…*awkward foreshadowing* - There are a few dances where boys are brought in to do duets with some of the girls revolving around crush/relationship style stories. And yes, there is a “lesbian” relationship (I use that lightly) dance in season 8. - There is a season 6 duet where one girl portrays a cancer patient. - There is a Madonna-style group dance in season 6, and a “vogue” style group dance in season 6 as well, but they are separate dances. - There is a Wizard of Oz dance in season 6, but no live animals were used.

Here's how I think Abby and the producers would've assigned a Star Wars group dance: Chloe would've been Darth Vader and Nia would've been a Wookie for sure. Maddie def would've been Princess Leia. Kenzie would've been an Ewok and Brooke & Paige def would've been Stormtroopers.
