Honestly I think the whole reason Chloe didn't place so high was not her choreo but actually herself. Almost 1 min before she was going to perform she was starting to freak out. And then wipe away the tears and smile and dance perfectly I mean that's pretty hard.. I bet this was not to the best of her ability. But I give Chloe props. They solo were both amazing! 

thank you soooo much! i agree. its every week "chloe shouldve won" what people don't understand is that these dances are 2minutes and we are seeing normally less than 30 seconds. maddie deserves wins too and having ppl support her. just cuz a dance "looks cool" and chloe is their fav doesnt mean she shouldve won. its not fair to maddie. chloe is a great dancer and they are neck and neck but even when maddie didnt comete against her she placed 5th.

Thank you finally someone agrees and doesn't blame someone else! Chloe is an amazing dancer but her movements were sloppy and I don't think she was ready for that turn sequence at 3:40 that hurt her but also 4th doesn't suck because they go against a lot of dancers people just don't realize that

the results online are: Maddie-1st solo, 1st title Chloe-4th solo, 3rd for title other competiton: Maddie came in 2nd for her solo, BUT won 1st for the title of Jr Miss Starpower. people are freaking on fb saying she didn't win a title but she did. please spread that around. they just didnt scroll down the page enough to see.

Maddie is a winner. Chloe can have really bad days and them she can have amazing days. She's inconsistent, whereas Maddie had one bad day (not including falling in the Spanish number, because really, she just persevered through that and it was dramatized on the show) and was in a slump after that. Both Chloe and Maddie are fantastic dancers, but Chloe lacks the confidence that Maddie has. Maddie shines because she has the face. Your eyes immediately go to her because of her stage presence. People need to stop saying that abby favors maddie and gives her way more attention, etc. The show chooses what they want us to see, and its clear that they want to portray the maddie favoritism. It doesn't mean that's actually how it happens. Abby has said that she loves chloe so its not like she hates everyone except maddie. People need to realize that the reason maddie wins is because shes better, not because of what abby does. Abby gives maddie better choreography because shes more capable.

That is so true ! Everyones feels Abby favorites Maddie , when in reality she doesn't! Maddie's the best dance on the team & everyone knows it but doesnt want to say it. They're all amazing! Because if they weren't they wouldn't have made the team. The reason Maddie places better is because of her choreography. I feel she's more mature compared to Chloe, as we all just saw her routine was sloppy. Plus Maddie's facial expressions are amazing! I Love Maddie And Mackenzie ! They've come so far !

I have to admit Christi was so right when she said Chloe's choreography doesn't even come CLOSE to maddies Chloe's a fantastic dancer.. But people won't know how great she really is if she gets stuck with numbers like this.. Even so she did great

actually they showed that she was supposed to stand on her back for longer not for a second and drop down which is why they said she didn't make it onto her back

At most competitions only your highest placing solo will place so that would explain why her tap solo wasn't in the top 10 because she did two that week.

Chloe should get harder choreo when she dosen't mess up the "easier" choreo she has been given. If Chloe didn't mess up in the solo I would agree that she needs harder choreo but she did.

I agree! Maddie was awesome! but the other girls were better than Chloe, I looove chloe, but the talent was just so amazing, and she deserved the place she got, I wish I didnt say that, but the other girls there were sooooo goodd!

The group dance was absolutely amazing!! Even though Kenzie slipped, it looked like she was supposed to because Payton was playing the character of someone who hurts other kids. The problem was Payton missed a turn. Which is perfectly acceptable, because she just recovered from an ankle ingury.

Chloe and Maddie have different styles- they aren't at the same level. Aside from this, on the show, they only show about 20 seconds of the original 4 minute dances. Chloe always gets a featured part in the group dances, she just about always gets a solo, I'd say she's in a pretty good position. So no, it's not clear as day. Maddie dances six days a week, Chloe dances three days a week. Maddie has more time to learn a complex dance and Chloe's dances are still beautiful.

what people dont understand is you dont have to have nice choreography in order to win .. its how you present yourself when dancing ! chloe had good choreography she did turns that maddie didnt even do she had alot of technique in this dance it maybe not as much as maddie did but she did have some and the only reason maddie won is becuase she emoted more ... im tired of people putting maddie down and making excuses for chloe losing ! if chlowe would have won there wouldnt even be an argument !

Has anyone else noticed that Maddie gets a song with a faster tempo which lets her do more things than the music that Chloe gets for a solo? It seems to me that Maddie has more of an opportunity to do different things in her dance than you would if the tempo was slower. Abby does not use those extension poses which the Starz dancers do so well. I wish the girls did more ballet and developed the strength to do those kind of movements, especially for a slower tempo song.

Hmm.. At the competition they said she got 5th but on the website it says fourth.. So im not sure... and yes, she was 3rd runner up for Junior miss Starpower. And with dance competitions you can get 1st in their genre group, but not first overall (Like their genre was contemporary which they placed first) But for overall a jazz group beat them.

i loved Maddie's solo i thought it was cute, and her costume was so nice as well. I'm glad she won both titles she AMAZING!!! I like cry the first time she didn't last year, but this one was Wonderful too though. You can compare the two "Cry" PERFORMANCES like they are both different how she did the emotion was different too.

there is no reason why any 1 should put maddie down b/c of what the judges think of her dancing and b/c she loves to dance just like chloe ... these arguments are getting old and boring ! they BOTH are very good TECHNICAL dancers BUT maddie is better at playing roles and emoting! if people keep making excuses for chloe to try n make her feel better they're not helping her ! they're making her think the wrong way AND is hurting maddie ! wanna talk about unfair treatment now??LOVE YOU MADDIE !!

Okay people should stop saying well they should switch choreography and see what happens. You have to think Abby gives them choreography she knows they do well. For example Chloe is great with extensions especially with the fact that she has long legs so thats what Abby puts in her dances. Maddie leaps and turns are her specialty so that is what Maddie puts in her dances if Abby one day randomely switched there choreography and gave them what the other is best at most likely it would look bad

Totally agree! in the end-ish where she does the a la secondes into a quad is amazing! Im 16 and cant even do that as flawlessly as she does it! I think Chloe is a jump/leap-er because she has beautiful straddle jumps -- like over 180degrees which is awesome!

Shes actually really fun and sweet! the first season kinda made her look awful, but she is actually a sweet girl, and all the other girls really like her! You would think since her dancing is so dedicated and on point she would be really serious, but she really is fun! Super carefree! All the girls are great friends, which also isnt protrayed that well in the show..

It's not because of her choreography, that's ridiculous. No dancer would purposefully set up their kids to lose. Like any person, she has bad days and good days (think Avalanche or that weird Chicago-esque jail number, versus Bad Apples). Yes, sneakily giving Maddie two numbers is not what a dance teacher should do...But let's be honest, here. Do you actually think Chloe, or any of the other dancers, would have enough confidence and stamina to go on again, doing a different dance?

Remember seeing the season premiere? Well in the premiere it showed Kelly getting really mad at Abby for canceling Paige's solo so Kelly walks into the room and starts to yell at Abby. She then tells them that neither of her girls was going to the competition.
