In the long run, playing at recess is good for dance. Exercise promotes health and fitness, social skills learned on the playground can transfer easily to dance class, where they do a lot of large and small group dances that require collaboration, and a child who goes to school all day, and then to dance practice, needs some outdoor time at some point. Being tired during dance class one day, because of outdoor play, seems like a small price to pay. Also, it sounds like that wasn't even a regular recess that made Mackenzie tired; it was a special occasion like a field day or something. Mackenzie told Abby, "we played outside all day." When I was in school, the school day went from about 9 to 3:30, and recess was fifteen minutes each in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon, and 45 minutes or so right after lunch. I've heard of schools that give far less recess time than that, or even none at all.

In my country we have 1 or 2 rcess(depends on school,i have only one) our recess is about 30min and our school day are 0700-1500,lastest 1800.
