Great videos. Way back when, I used to take aerobics classes. The best teachers were the ones who would start out with some basic moves, repeat them so everyone understood, and then put them together by the end of the class into a fully choreographed dance. I had 2 left feet but enjoyed it thoroughly. Your clips remind me of those teachers. A lot of dance videos on KZbin are too complex and fast for beginners. Keep up the good work.

Hey Lily. You're right! The progressive teaching style is inspired from my fitness background. I've always believed that it's about the journey, not just the final routine. Unfortunately dance studios tend to focus on the end product, with the teachers often being their to perform or for status, rather than for the sheer joy of teaching.

Dancing is the hardest thing to learn if you didn't grow up around it. I feel SO self conscious. But I want to learn, it looks like something good for both your body and your mind.

It's true, without the cultural support and physical foundations dancing can be quite difficult. But, like any skill, the more time you allow your brain to practice a movement, the better you will become at it. Then you'll start to see certain movements recurring in different routines, thus picking up the next routine even faster. It's a process!

Its been 3 years since this video and almost 4 years my sister is making me learn this dance so I can be her backup dancer for her collage project this video took me 10 minutes to master and any one else can learn in 10 minutes even under 10 minutes its simple and a good way to start your morning to burn fat
