The time when Hoshi was supposedly to be in Vocal unit and Woozi on Performance Unit then ended up being leader in different Unit. Amazing destiny.

Woozi was supposed to be in the performance unit when back when they were trainees because of his dancing skills but he became the vocal unit leader instead because of his producing/vocal skills. I also used to wonder why he didn't have a main/lead dancer position despite of his excellence in dancing, but then later on I realized that maybe it's because he already have too much in his plate. He write, compose and produce songs and he's basically their main vocal director too. And also maybe to maintain the balance of the team.

He was even in the running for the general leader position, but turned it down because he already had so much to do. Our genius producer 💎

@@han_is_one hot take, but i don't think he's the ace of seventeen, but he's the ace of KPOP in general, never seen someone so racked up in stats in all of singing, dancing, producing, writing, and composing. he's truly THE ace.

The fact that they do these just for fun, as passion, outside of their hectic schedule.. 👏🐯

i think the first video helped me understand Hoshi's dancing style better. he's hitting every move at the same time as zdaeganz, but he softens some of the lines just slightly. it feels more fluid and less sharp (and both styles look absolutely gorgeous for different reasons). it's like he enjoys breathing through his moves a bit more, which changes the texture of the dance. and Woozi is also a phenomenal dancer. i feel his thing is kind of the opposite of Hoshi, where he purposefully makes the moves more compact and firm, with more gravity somehow. it's super interesting to see three amazing dancers doing the same choreo and making it look slightly different.

Very impressive to see Hoshi is so relaxed when dancing (good dancers always make dancing look so easy). His body looks very fluid and definitely not stiff at all. If you compare him with jidae (sorry man), you can see there are some differences with their shoulders

I noticed that too! Not that either is better or worse cos both of them are obviously really great dancers. I find it fascinating that with the same dance choreo, both could exude a different feel to it, where Hoshi’s was more relaxed and groovy, and Woozi’s was more clean and sharp. Kept repeating their second dance just to see their different styles and execution haha

when i first watched seventeen 5 years ago my eyes caught woozi's attention first. at that moment i thought he is the main dacer of the group and realized after he is under vocal unit. i mean seventeen is all arounder istg

I think Hoshi's dancing is more fluid, catchy, and looks effortless whereas Woozi's is sharp, clear, and gives off a "cool boy" vibe. They both dance well and seeing them dance in different styles is very interesting.

this is the best description of their dance styles that i've seen, it's true woozi does give cool vibes cuz he adds that swag while vibing, while hoshi focuses more on the dance itself

If you watch seventeen's recent "dawn is hotter than our day" video series where the members have "deep talks", woozi actually mentions that the company gave him the choice between performance and vocal unit since he was so proficient at both. He chose vocal obv but just thought I'd share :)

@@Maadizonn yeah I know that too. I was just saying that. Honestly, he must be busy enough in the vocal team and producing songs too.
