I met Tech and got a photo with him bout 10 years ago at an underground concert maybe 200 ppl, after performing this song which was the last of the night he said "People always ask me if this is a true story, and I always tell them, it happens every day of every week of every month of every year".

This song saved me from losing my soul to gangs and the thoughts in my head were gruesome. I have no friends or family and I’ve been trying to find people I could fit in with and ride with but hearin this broke me and stopped me from following through because after awhile you lose yourself trying to find brothers in demons and once you surround yourself with those demons they take hold of you and influence your every thought, movement and intent. This song helped me realize and open my own eyes inward to the path I was dancing along. I’m homeless bouncing from west and south side chicago and Gary and I’m trying to make family with people who’d rather had you a 9 to solve your problems instead of talking to you to

The people who were there when the lights got shut off and they came through with dinner and some paper on the bill.. Your real fucking family. Keep hustling and keep grinding brother. This and many other songs got me into Hip Hop, and honestly helped me realize how much i wanted to make music. This song is devastating and i listen to it from time to time to remind me that the choices we make mold us for the rest of our lives and i everyday hope and wish that no one has to relive a situation like this one... Thank you for all of your music Immoral Technique, you are a true inspiration and a true genius.

I heard this back when I was completely immature and doing graffiti. Unc Futura 2000 played it the first time I heard it! I couldn’t understand the message outside of the shock factor, but I’m now a 33 year old man and I now see the message. Be blessed during your green years if you’re getting this in your innocent time. Grow your experience I pray.

At the point of hearing this, I left gang life, injecting heroin, and found God, but this song made me quit smoking, weed, and everything else, and truly made me feel for everyone I'd ever hurt.

Weed is only bad depending on how you use it and what you use it for. If you use it on a spiritual level to connect with the world and life then there's no real problem. It's those who abuse it just to get high who have a problem

I remember being in a busy nightclub in Korea and the DJ mixed this track in, watching people dancing to this was a weird experience...

Remember the first time I heard this song. Some guys at work were talking about it and told me to listen so I promptly put in an earbud and kept cleaning the grill. When the twist came I literally dropped my sponge and had to stop and process it. Guys had a good laugh at me but I came back the next day and thanked them for introducing me to IT lol

One of my students recommended this talented artist to me. I saw him years ago at the BellyUp in Solana Beach California. Immortal Technique is the REAL DEAL! 💯

Damn, this song is too raw for me sometimes. I can only listen to this song about once per year. That was it, see y’all next year.

Same here. I just listened to it and it was amazing. The bars are absolute gold. The story telling and flow is heavenly, but the subject matter kills me inside. I teared up on the bus just now.

When I was a kid my parents were addicted to drugs. Listening to this song with my dad 6:00 am on our way to bail my mom out of jail is a completely different feeling. This song has been in my life since I was just 3 years old. It’s deep.

Remembering 9th grade when we'd take turns listening to this song in class, some actually cried. Song is actually wicked
