This is a very powerful piece. This dancer has dome something incredible- she has transcended gender. Throughout the choreo, there is no focus on her feminity, which is very difficult for an attractive woman to achieve. The choreography is very intelligent. What a pleasure to watch!

Thank you, MS Shirushree Saikia for an very energetic and quite a perfect performance. I have been watching a number of dance performance of Lord Shiv Tandav. For male performers, the energy is more than female. But most of the them are added to modern flavours, what it's called 'fusion'. I prefer to have the Classical flavour. I like yours for quite some reason, 1) the energies are spilled off quite a lot, which is the main part of Shiv Tandav. 2) The expression of anger, the main part, the anger of loss for the beloved one, is flashed through your facial expression. 3) You have used 'Trishul', the prop, for modern term, which was used perfectly. 4) Your steps on the sand are almost perfect and heavy, because whenever you lift up your feet, portion of sand also scooped up, that's the real heavy thump of showing anger. 5) At 1:35 of the video, your lift up of Trishul is so powerfully that your body shaken. A real show of anger. Good one. There are little shortcoming noticed: a) The famous pose of Shiv Tandav is that, Lord is Standing on his RIGHT leg, lifting up his LEFT leg. Please notice that the RIGHT leg should not be at position of straight, but between 45 to 60 degree angular, and the LEFT lift up leg should be bent at 30 to 45 degree angular. Most of the the dance keeps their RIGHT leg most often straight, of at about 80 degree angular if not straight. You have showed the perfect pose at 0:30 sec. of your video. b) For Indian Classical dance, 'Mudras' interprets the stories of the dance, in your dance some Mudras, to my knowledge, requires mending, better consult with expert. c) Videographer is good, but editing could have been better. d) Your performance abruptly stops in the video, that is it should be continued till end. May Lord give you more bliss and energy.
