Most of top korean dancer rarely battle after they past 35 unless they were invited as a guest battler , because its tiring to go through pre selection and they had less motivation because they dont have to prove anything

@@zaysyang2607 in Lip J's case, she had a knee injury so it held her back. She participated a battle outside Korea just recently but she avoided floorworks for that reason and though she did great just showing her musicality with pure waacking, she wasn't in her full element.

@@rightinfrontofmysalad7356 idk, Yoonji really captured the vibe of that song? She bodied that song. It's very obvious Yoonji already took the round. Before you say anything I understand Marid's musicality very well and she did great on the first round cuz it still matches the song but second round, i saw how she's trying to match it and she did, but it is very visible that Yoonji's exchange surpassed her in that set. I never considered Marid's Dance battles underwhelming cuz I understand her musicality, Yoonji on the other hand always have that exchange that will either match or surpassed her opponents performance.

@@yusifrehimov7936 yeah marid's beatkill and musicality is something that a normal battler/waacker can't do... it's just she always had a hard time pulling this kind of music(2nd song), yoonji on the other hand is very versatile, my only problem on yoonji is sometimes her moves are kinda short(but her facial expressions always redeem it, so it's all good)
