when it comes to story telling also known as word play it is me as the dancer if I feel like some things are not to be talked about when you dancing and better still story telling to me as a dancer is not even told right because our Ghanaian dancers don’t want to learn and they have limited everything. There are a lot of exposures in word play or let me say storytelling which entailes dilemma(choices of how our body reacts to whatever we hear, feel and how we want to present it ) and this was superb he really did well and the fact that they are body shaming him and saying is not for fat people is a lie cos in my jurisdiction of dance is for everyone if you are willing to learn and put your heart to it There are a lot of fat people doing tutting is called tutting not layers it is term Ghanaian dancers have been using which is not right and also he did not do any tutting thing the only thing he did was the body waves and Chicago foot movement that was it Kudos❤ Dancegod you really did good

The point is, DGL is good with afro moves and afro music is his forte. e.g amapiano, higlife, azonto etc. Popping and locking is a different dance type just like rnb is different from reggae and afrobeats. The idea is superb but the dance type is not good for him. Every dancer get a dance type they are good with and he must do what he is good at. unfortunately, this dance type is not his.

i'ld say he's body isn't built for "layers" as we call it in Ghana and that ain't subjective, just facts. he does well with the Afrodance and we all use to seeing him go crazy with them moves buh the switch was so unexpected In like, he was tryna fit into a "genre" of dance that didn't match with his aesthetic so it looked weird to watch.
