Brought back so much memories when I eventually found this film. I always remembered Terence vaguely, so I searched and searched many years. It wasn't until two years ago during the pandemic that I spent hours looking. Trying out search engines for the movie's title name in various forms, as I forgot the name of the film, and the two main stars. Wished they'd have shot this in 30mm film, so that a blue-ray copy would be remastered in all 4K glory!! We'd all buy that in a hurry!

This movie is like a member of our family. Every time "They Call Me Trinity" came on when I was young, my big brother would always get us together for the night of nights. We'd have the pillows and covers laid out on the floor, right in front of the TV. The Giant bowl of popcorn. Then our eyes will be glued to the screen. B & W. There was no such thing as color. With this movie, there was no need. This went on for years. I can remember even watching it together in my teens. We still love this movie. And I think that it is a pure treasure. 😀

I'm 62, and this movie and "Trinity Is Still My Name" are two of my favorite spaghetti Westerns. The running gags are so powerful, they run through multiple movies. The beans scene at the beginning is reprised at a fancy French restaurant in "Trinity Is Still My Name", with the addition of his brother Bambino, both having bathed and purchased all new clothes. All of the Trinity movies are worth watching. They're usually very long movies, so you get your evening's worth! I have a copy of this film I got from the Internet Archive, as it's out of copyright.

the German dialogues are by far the best. has of course many German idioms, but the jokes they tell each other in German are insurmountable. . . . it would be worth learning German just to see these films with these two......By the way, I am a Greek who just knows German since my childhood (I watched the movies as a child and I am 50 now!). . . now , having seen both the English and German versions I can assure you that in the German version , it's like watching another movie with lines so cool and funny , that might not be so successfully said in another language ( they have of course added extra German idioms to the dialogues . . . This is exactly what is lost in the English version !!!
