Yes you guessed right. Thats the Haka - a traditional Maori dance. Bang Chan has a lot of appreciation for the indigenous peoples of Australia & New Zealand and wanted to honor it.

They incorporated traditional Haka into the choreography. This was an earlier StrayKids choreo, their first song to catch a lot of attention, though not yet God’s Menu level. You can definitely see the growth from Hellevator (predebut) to Miroh to, say, Thunderous or Case 143. You can tell which members have trained or danced a long time and which members are newer. Now they are all on a higher level and blend much better. But I.N. for example, the youngest, has greatly improved since debut in every aspect.

This song came out 16 months after their pre -debut song Hellevator. So yes, some of them has trained for years before the group formed, but as a group dancing with each other, they were still young to it. But it also shows how committed to the dancing they are.
