Monthly "THE GATHERING" Continues to highlight local black street dance culture and music. From commencement to closure, there will be a clear demonstration of dance genres indigenous to the Black diaspora. Local street dance communities including communities have pledged their participation to raise awareness about the cultural significance of their respective dance forms. Throughout our monthly event, there will be opportunities to witness dance cyphers that will test the fortitude of each participant based on their knowledge, practice, and study. Ultimately, we desire to expose and align the work of the street dance community with that of the broader dance community as a point of order. As our event continues to grow, we need support to cover expenses on the rental to ensure this monthly event is an experience for the dance community and the general audience, who love to witness incredible movement and networking. By donating, we will have a more significant opportunity to reach our goals to provide an amazing experience. The Funds will cover:
The monthly rental fees
Cover our DJ and sound fees
Food and beverages for the community
Staff

I’d definitely say Left Right and Shooting Star have better choreo in my opinion. I feel like we see more personality and more of their strengths in those two pieces. Also their Move Series showcased each of them on their own. It was interesting to see the pieces they chose to dance to individually but also their group pieces were good.

My favorites of theirs are still TippyToes and LeftRight. You haven’t seen LeftRight yet, I recommend it. I also recommend the group Pixy and Le Sserafim’s Unforgiven. Also, the group TRENDZ’s Villain. I’ve never seen a choreo use the prop like they do, and for them being a new group too? You’ll really love it.

If you really want to see their dance, you should check out their 4 move mv's, the first 3 are pre-debut. Move #1 had people believing they were a dance crew. Move #2 is 7 individual videos of each member showcasing a different style of dance. Move 3 is move 1 but in a different setting and slight costume modification. Move #4 is set to some Mary J Blige. They just performed at Head in the Clouds in NY, so you should be able to find a few video's of their 30 minute performance.

I am very grateful for the reaction video from the dancer's perspective. I'm happy to hear the detailed choreography and their efforts ( everyone is doing eye contact etc) that I couldn't see. My favorite dance practice is tippy toes cuz after watching that video I fall in love with XG. ( plz react to tippy toes dance practice Fixed ver. ) ❤️

All of their choreos are on point. To me, tippy toes, shooting star, mascara and left right. Each concept are different and that’s what makes the unique. Thanks for the reaction
