Aespa opened Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series this year and Illusion was one of the songs they performed... in that drop move, Giselle nearly fell backwards but managed to save it... the look on her face was so flippin' cute! 😂 like, surprised Pikachu face but even cuter.

I think that was because she forgot she was wearing a skirt, so she quickly tried to get up but ended up losing her balance haha

I just like how some choreographies just dosent feel overwhelming and is executed so clean, like its a vibe, but people take it as its lazy and easy choreographies 💀🤡🥲

not for a reaction, but it would be cool to check out the 2 choreographers that inspired this - SM uploaded their drafts and while most of the final choreo came from Bada Lee's version, I was totally amazed by Bailey Sok's take on this song. That whole SMP FLOOR channel is gold, to be honest

I think the hand movement is supposed to resemble a Black Mamba snake 🐍

It's meant to represent a flame. The Korean name for the song, 도깨비 불 are mirage like flames that hypnotize people in the night. The closest Western equivalent would be will o wisp. A lot of the choreography is slow with sudden strength that looks like they tried to recreate flares and jumps that a flame does at times.
