ONEWE said that whenever they have their activities, it always rain so they wrote Rain To Be. The Korean title means "The Boy Who Brings Rain"

Fyi, Dongmyeong donate his Keytar named Fella for this MV, because it can't be used again. The keytar is the firts he has. And behind the MV Making, Xion comes to the MV Making to give Dongmyeong and all member ONEWE chicken + pizza. As what Dongmyeong do before, he came to ONEUS MV Making Black Mirror to see Xion and sent them pizza too. Love the Twins to support each other.

Dongmyeong white keytar was his first, and didn't work.. Now he has the black one :) So in the MV his keytar was the only real instrument :)

ONEWE has this really interesting way of relating life experiences to romantic relationships in songs - the concept behind Rain To Be is that whenever they have a schedule, it always rains. the other song like this I can think of off the top of my head is TRAUMA (Aquarium) from their last album, in which CyA (rapper/bassist) relates his childhood experience of nearly drowning to the end of a relationship. I’d recommend you check out the highlight medleys if you want to know more about the inspiration or meaning behind some of the songs! also, as far as I’m aware Kanghyun (guitarist) and Harin (drummer) don’t sing. thanks so much for the reaction!

Also the concept of filming underwater is completely insane ! The instuments where fake don’t worry ;) And the Rain is a powerful symbol to them and to Weve’s bc it would always rain whenever they had a schedule so that’s when they could meet their fans.

@Manahil Chaudhry the instrument were all fake (not the keytar though). The member said so themselves. Kanghyun even nicknamed the one use in the MV as fake-dogi (not sure if it spells like this). If other background anthem or instrument were not fake, they were either broken or not in conditions to be use anymore.

@@luna-ul6dn Yeah that's what I saw, the new bass and the new guitar are soooo cool tho ! The blue light in the bass is dope ! But on the behind the scene, we can also see that's it doesn't look exactly like their real instruments ;) It would've been so sad for a any musician to sacrifice their instrument, especially if you are really attached to it (Dongmyeong said the white keytar was already broken and he has the black one since end of spring + I think he said during a vlive that he wasn't that attached to the white keyboard).

Kanghyun (the guitarist with the blue hair) wrote this track because ONEWE seems to bring rain to whatever schedule they have for the day. If you watch their MV Making Film, it also rains for quite a while during their shooting. 😁

Rain to be was meant to be based on the repeated occurrence of rain whenever they do any activities (it even rained whenever they filmed the mv and had to postpone aurora’s mv filming because of rain) so it’s like “we bring the rain wherever we go”

Q (모르겠다고) was originally written by CyA as "Don't Play With Me", and can be found on his SoundCloud, "latecya". I think their boss suggested he rewrite it to include Hwasa, and we got this masterpiece. You may also want to check out the 모르겠다고 _version_ of the song on their channel, in which they play it with cheap toy instruments! 😂
