Hiiii let me just clarify things, okay? First of all, thank you for all your reactions to seventeen, we really appreciate your love to them. Also, Light a Flame was actually a unit song, as we all know seventeen does unit songs. Semi colon unit songs are based on age and light a flame was a unit of 96 liners namely Hoshi, Wonwoo, Jun and Woozi so it was the just the four of them in that song. Next, the Shining Diamond song was their pre debut song and they performed it this 2021 again in their online concert. It was amazing how they still dance that song with so much passion and enjoyment, it was like them performing ot for the first time again. Well, that is all. Thank you agaaaaain, i'll be waiting for mooore.

They said 2021 stage, because Shining Diamond are song from their predebut era in 2015. The catchy lyrics included are - 17 Carat : which refer also to the fandom name - Slip into the diamond life: a phrase (or spell 😂) to fell into svt more - I'm only 17, I've only got a few dollars: which are fact, they average age when debut is 17y.o and their debut are known often got suspended bcs of hard financial condition Both performance are from their 2021 online concert, which Shining Diamond performance are really unexpected and bring back memories for fans whose been with them since the beginning

The 17 part was because vernon was 17 in 2015 when they debuted. He was refering to himself in his rap.

Light a Flame is a 96 age line unit, and it's a "making love under the candlelight" song, so the choreo is mostly about being sensual and some moves reference the candle's flame. Shining Diamond is the first song they ever released as a group (they made it during their predebut show 17Project) and it's about how the great deal of pressure they've been under has turned them from ordinary stones to diamonds and they're ready to show the world jow bright they shine. As you noticed, they often reference a crowd watching a performance in the choreo, and them sitting on each other represents their teamwork and support for each other. I'm not sure about that moment you pointed out (where it sees like they're grabbing a sword) but the members doing that move are the leaders of each unit (Coups, Hoshi, Woozi) + DK who became the leader of the BSS unit later. Interpret it however you want 😉

when you explained about "melting" i remembered how Hoshi actually chose the imagery of melting ice cream for the beginning of "Shining diamond" 9:59 ^^

"Seventeen DIY, what's good" had me sobbing because they had carats DIY the Heng:garae album (like a mix and match kinda thing) and also include sewing kits (to make a semicolon symbol) in the Semicolon album. DIY straight to the fandom lmao

Thanks for this reaction ! I really love that you check the videos 2 times to analyse more during the replay. Shining diamonds was their predebut song and it was very special to see that song on their last online concert. A great surprise for carats. Light a flame is a song by the 96 liners in svt (age unit) and the concept was indeed very more sensual compared to what they usually do. I really enjoyed the change of pace from the slow melting moves to the faster and sharper ones, I think it brings an interesting texture to the choreo.

I love your reaction to these stages! :) Btw, Shining Diamond's choreo was purely done by Hoshi with the members predebut... :)

I loved the Light a flame stage, but the dance video is kinda confusing since everyone is wearing random clothes and is difficult to distinguish the 96Line from the dancers even more since the dancers and them do the same choreo the whole time so it doesn't highlight that much the actual four members performing, so then seeing them all perform in just random clothes is confusing, the one that was most highlighted we could say is woozi, because he is wearing a more formal attire kinda salsa like instead of a shirt and sweatpants, but overall I really loved it, my favorite song of Semicolon is Light a flame and I was thrilled to see them perform and even more that we got a dance practice

They actually stand out because they have that unique charisma and they are highlighted in some moves. But yeah, I mean their backup dancers are also great to the point that they can bias wreck us. 😂 Also, the dance movements of SVT members are different just like how we can easily see Hoshi because of how he dances.

Thanks for this🌻🥕 Hope you can check their pre-debut version of Shining Diamond (2015) and for Light A Flame, it's a song by 96 line members only☺️ ...

The only thing that dissapointed me a bit in Light a Flame was that they didn't incorporate many tango elements in the choreo, I was expecting that since the music draws a lot form it and I think they would be awesome at it But it's still a great choreo

Can I get your opinion-- do you think light a flame choreography should have had women dancers in it? It's been a debate within Carats. 😂😂😂
