The fact that Hyunjin himself said he has no self-esteem and confidence is what he does these days and wasn't sure this woumd turn out good just shows how good he is! He was really emotional on the bubble app (where you chat with them) just after it cane out because he saw how much love he got and people said it was amazing. He really is a soft person that just wants to do the best he can but he is never satisfied with the results

I want to know what message he left in bubble?...Bubble doesn't really work well here but I'm so happy that he's happy about the people's feedback...I hope he'll have more confidence and it's funny that it's coming out from a person(me)who has no confidence and low self-esteem...I hope he'll feel more comfortable again to stays like before and be the bubbly and bright Hyunjin😁😃

Hyunjin said he used the hat in the beginning because he wants people to notice his dancing and not just his pretty face. He's really worked hard on being a better dancer and is self taught. He wants people to recognize him for his hard work and not just his looks.

I have no idea how but Hyunjin manages to stay rooted/grounded enough for this kind of crump-inspired stuff while always feeling like he’s floating about a foot off the ground, it’s really mesmerizing. He literally flings himself into this stuff in a way where the momentum feels like it’s just a little bit ahead of where his legs actually are ETA: “It’s sexy because it’s strong” YES, THIS. He’s a good looking guy but the massive sexiness of this is all about the incredible skill and expressiveness in how he moves.

I'm always exited to watch reactors watch this dance for the first time!!! +++ It's so hard to look at your reaction and NEEDDDD to look at him at the same time.... LOL ALSO, I knew you would love this video, his dance here is so perfect and powerful! (He worked A LOT on it) Some of the choreo parts are his idea, not only the choreographer, there's a behind the scence where you can watch his whole prosses of learning the dance and working on it. I think Hyunjin showed a side that he hasn’t really showed and he did it so well. I love the krump feel to this piece and I’d love to see SKZ do something like this. The song's original MV had a racing theme (the team is also called a crew). The beginning reminded me of a stick shift. Where they were holding his arms resembled the movement of pistons.

I think he put the hat on to show that he is more than just "the guy with the long hair", because when he cut his hair, he got a lot of negative comments and it really hurt his self esteem. He also keeps running his fingers through his hair since getting it cut. I counted like 5 times or more in this MV lol. Definitely a big F U to the people who weren't even his fans and only liked him with longer hair.

Thanks for your reaction! ✨ if you were having doubts about the meaning of the beginning of the video, i saw this comment the other day and I wanted to share it with you because it makes sense (also related to what you said of the resemblance to a boat) and its really interesting ✨ Cheers from Argentina. This performance is a remix of the song "Motley Crew" by Post Malone. "Motley (mot = sounds like pot) crew" as a term is pretty ancient and means an unusual, random, undisciplined & probably dangerous group, like the crew of a sailing ship of olden times. That's what the performance looks like at the start - all the dancers in a group holding the hat up like the mast of a ship, and Hyunjin takes the hat & joins their motley crew, until he throws the hat away later

Thank you so much for uploading your reaction. Hyunjin is truly an artist in every shape and form and he's enjoying himself in this dance which I'm happy for and the way he expresses the dance and moves whether it's hard hitting or fluid, the little details, technicalities 🤯. He puts his all in anything he loves and I'm So so proud of what he has accomplished and is going to accomplish in the future. He is such a humble human and loves his members and STAY so much, his bubble messages yesterday made me treary eyed saying how thankful he is for his members, friends, family and colleagues, how his self-esteem has been at 0% these days, how hard it was and how STAYS and the members have saved him once again. Also saying how he didn't want to tell us he has been having a hard time but we keep raising him up, making him want to depend on us Shout-out to Versachoi for rearranging the song, the choreographers MOTF, the stylists and makeup artists, the dancers, Studio Choom and of course the man himself Hwang Hyunjin for such an amazing performance. Can't wait for the unfiltered version of the performance and the choreo record which is the behind the scenes is already out, you should definitely check it out. Hands down one of the best dancers in Kpop. Would love to see him do a stage with Kai or Taemin
