I haven't confirmed it but I read early on that they practice their songs on a metronome even without music to train themselves on the beat, which is why they're so good at doing musicality even on silent beats. Really kind of insane how good they are.

Kiel Tutin was the main choreographer. Along with Sienna, he seems to be one of XGs favorite choreographers. Kiel has done Twice choreo and I can see a lot of similarities/moves in Twice and XG in Puppet Show because of Kiels influence.

Kiel works with pretty much all top Kpop girl groups, it's not just TWICE. For instance he's Blackpink's main choreographer.

@@GoodOldCinema Yes, he performed on stage with BP and was BP's musical director for the Pink Venom tour, and reimagined a lot of their stages of older songs. He has also done other XG songs.

What I like about XG choreography is the fact that they use crazy formations and transitions, which demand precision or it will look like a total mess.

Also kind of insane how aligned they are switching between formations (super clear especially towards the end), with no markers on the ground. That's some crazy practice paying off!

I think the choreography looks unique because XG song is different from any others group, X-Pop doesn't gave 'boundary' like J-Pop or K-Pop that's why the choreo can push the limit of the creativity, I think :)

The feminine word she was looking for is sensual lol I always like sensual choreography over sexual mostly bc it’s harder to pull off. It takes more effort to be alluring than sexy. This is why anyone could be sexy and not everyone can be sensual. It’s amazing that all 7 can pull this off in this era of Kpop (I knw they are not Kpop) you never see sensual executed correctly. Like I see ppl trying but not pulling it off. Where as in 2nd gen it was everywhere think of miss A hush choreography. All of the choreography is sensual not sexy and they use a prop! Oh and AOA mini skirt I think that’s it that choreography is sensual. Very alluring to the audience like are the gonna do with the skirt ? Keeps the audience guessing and drawing in. And I think it was band. 😂
