I actually liked Greenteks set better against Waydi, but I'm a popper so its all subjective, Waydi is amazing as well. The main thing is that Green lost the crowd, he directly insulted them, he signed his own death certificate when he did that. I love greentek as he is one of the best at my style, but he has always had attitude problems and needs to learn to be humble. How he acted was unacceptable and he got what he asked for.

Yeah slim was better but cartoon is one of the harder working and most respectful guys from the new gen, he went toe to toe with rubix and joris and it's ain't easy ;P the wackxxxy vs stylez c was a very close call so no shame there either. You just pulled some parts of battles that had a better combo and put them in a compilation.

And yeaaa honestly wackxxxy was killing stylez c in that battle but at the same time, when moments happen like that whatcha gonna do.. it was sad to see but we can’t lie my brother, they got served in that moment. Most street dance styles > breaking. That gymnastics ish is cute and very appealing to the eye but will never match the technical strength, control and artistry that street dance styles like popping, house, jookin, hip hop etc require. Especially popping and footwork styles like, it’s not even close
@arie85154 жыл бұрын
@@DevenAyambem idk how you think popping requires more strength then breaking powermoves..... 😅🤣 When I was younger I've done both a bit, not at any kind of high level of course, but popping didn't make me tired at all? you just have to keep your muscles tight to make it look actually robot ish, and the "pop" comes only from your legs/knees. Meanwhile powermoves are just straight up pain, pain, pain and exhausting. Maybe I'm missing a huge part of popping that makes it exhausting and insanely strength requiring? Please enlighten me. Also I think maybe you've looking at the wrong bboy footage or something? "Gymnastic ish" Is not a good description of what powermoves etc. are. But anyway, apart from what is supposed to be harder, it's all about opinions and what you personally think is cooler.
@DevenAyambem4 жыл бұрын
@@arie8515 sure at first popping isn’t going to be as physically exhausting as when beginning breaking, but tbh were you really popping tho? 😂 To make popping actually look like it’s supposed to is extremely difficult brotha, and believe me coming from someone who performs street dance at a national level and has experience dancing across the board in styles like ballet, jazz, and contemporary, popping has been the most difficult by far. To emulate the vibe/style the moves in popping give off is so technically difficult from head to toe. The shapes have you create with your body while is unlike any other to me. In breaking yes I’m not gonna completely knock the footwork aspect and artistry/technical difficultly in the power moves and punchlines. I think that’s what bridges the large gap between it and acrobatic gymnastics. It’s just that when something like breaking is so much easier to understand and appreciate than a style like popping, to me that’s already an indicator that’s it’s not as impressive. In dance, the more complex the movement is, the more physically difficult it is to create. The level of physical maturity required to perform popping at an elite level is pretty unmatched if you ask me. And I’m not completely dissing breaking tbh with you homie, I look at it like this: popping > breaking > gymnastics/martial arts.. to me that’s big for street in dance in general cause most people consider gymnastics to be the hardest physical activity there is. For breaking if you just athletically gifted enough with rhythm that’s enough to take you far. That doesn’t just cut it for popping
@arie85154 жыл бұрын
@@DevenAyambem I surely believe at an elite level popping is extremely hard bro. And yes when I was a young fella I was in a breaking group lmao and one of our teachers was really into/good at popping and we learnt from him too. He could bust crazy popping moves but he did couldnt bust powermoves although he practice them.... This has lead to me believing powermoves are extremely hard ya know. The owners of the dance school are a dance group called "come correct" you should look 'em up sometimes! But I really have to say I think getting to an elite level is perhaps equally hard in both popping and breaking. I instantly believe you when you say some shapes and forms you have to make im popping take decades of practice to really master. But if you want to be elite in breaking and you want to bust windmills into powerswipes into handspins and then slowmo-ing it into a crazy ass freeze, it also takes decades of practice, and a lot of people could try all their life but never archieve it.... Let's agree on the fact it's about equally hard to do if you want to be at the very top level? Cheers ;p
@DevenAyambem4 жыл бұрын
@@arie8515 aye you know what ima respect that and take your word for it. Breaking is definitely the one style I only know the mainstream dancers in haha, but what your saying makes sense. Love what you had to say tho, we can definitely agree on that equity in difficulty ! Best to you homie
