When The8 lost his hat and went back to pick it up, the moves in themselves are actually a part of the choreo so it was a pretty perfect chance for him to pick it up xd

He's was a bboy before he became an idol, and he's also into contemporary lately. He's a super talented dancer you guys should definitely check out more seventeen and The8!

Seventeen are Choreo KINGS..and I'm multi so I follow most kpop groups..they are amazing live. Most of the choreo also tells a story in correlation with the song..They also do most of their OWN choreo. They are known to incorporate sign language to the choreo in past songs..Seventeen are Top Tier 👌 "suggestions" watch the mv..storyline is very important to these young men..yall are pausing too much..😂 I get it,,,,you shook.
@rhinem83253 жыл бұрын
definitely the storyline is very important for them. Hoshi as performance leader has said that is how he approaches performance and dance. It has become seventeen's signature too.

There's something i found interesting watching a dance practice for lilili yabbay so i thought you might be interested too!! in 2017 each unit released an mv! performance team released a performance video for lilili yabbay and a couple days after it they put out the dance practice for it, what i found interesting was how in the performance video they kinda flowed differently and were more smooth i guess? and in the dance practice they were more pop-y (i'm not a dancer so i don't really know the terms sorry!) and a dancer pointed out how the outfits, makeup and setting can affect the mood or style of dancing! in the performance video they looked kinda androgynous and really fit the mood of the song!! but in the dance practice they hit the moves harder than usual since they were in casual clothing n stuff! so yea i thought it was interesting!!
@woo73973 жыл бұрын
also you should definitely read the lyrics for it since the performance video has no subs and the choreography would be a million times better if you understood the meaning of the song! i recommend watching the translations of this channel called "seventeenlyrics" they're the most accurate i think!

I love how I can feel your love and passion for dancing just by watching your reactions. Your energies are transcending beyond the screen. Idk if you’ve watched Seventeen’s other choreograohy vids but if you’re going to keep on doing so, I suggest you do everything tbh lmaoooo but yeah, they have an upcoming performance on Ellen Show on April 1 for their song Hit (one of their best performances ever).

Seventeen is known as Kings of Synchronization. As you explore their other choreographies, you will notice how they have one braincell in performing. They are also versatile and are not afraid to try other things and improve more. You will see different concepts from them so watching them will never be boring.

My new favourite reaction to Home;Run lmaoooo! The guy at the end who did the knee spin is called The8 (thats his stage name, 8 doubling in meaning as the infinity symbol, his real name is XU Minghao), he was a b-boy in china for 6 years as a child and led a b-boy crew called Dance Power - they came 6th in the BBOY IN SHANGHAI World Breakdown Dance Competition

i believe the main choreographer who worked with them for this song is choi young joon! he's credited in making many kpop group's choreography and seventeen's no exception :) for svt though, the members themselves also provides valuable input--for example, the ending spin was decided by the member himself (stage name the8, real name xu minghao) and others co-choreographs parts to create this spectacular performance. anyway, i appreciate your genuine reactions and commentary coming from a your experiences/knowledge as dancers! great content
@zaraloves84203 жыл бұрын
I’ve watched a whole bunch of dancers reacting to Seventeen and the two phrases that almost everyone says when describing them is “great transition” and “great musicality”. As a non-dancer, I never really knew what those meant so thank you so much for explaining it. I now agree that Seventeen really does have great musicality. The way they hit those music notes so fully and completely are really satisfying to the ear. I think them self-producing the song and having a major hand in the choreography also plays a role. Since the one who’s doing the producing, choreographing and the performing are all in the same group, they can work together to take out all the flavours of the dance. I remember there was once a behind-the-scenes practice for their performance unit song called “Lilili Yabbay” and there was a particular hip move which didn’t really stand out. However, later in the MV, they added a sound that corresponded to the hip move, and it really brought everything together. Enough of this rambling. I just wanna say thank you so much for giving this much love to Seventeen and enjoying their hard work and passion.

I loved your reaction gentlemen. Carets (fandom name) are proud of our boys. And to tell you the truth there are so many practices that Seventeen has its hard to pin point their best. However, there is a video that might help you get a list going. Its called "Seventeen: Easiest to Hardest Dance preformances." It has the most comprehensive list of their best dances. But there are two dance practices you NEED to see. The first one is called "Crazy In Love," (and no, its not a cover of Beyonce's song, promise.) And second is called "Heaven." OMG, gentlemen, this dance practice is truly amazing. One of the reasons, first there are 13 members to Seventeen, (explanation of the name and group another time) and they work with another group from their company. Now Nu'est has 5 members. So there are a total of 18 men doing amazing choreo that one of Seventeen members. His name is Hoshi. He is the choreographer for all of Seventeen's dances.... I'm sorry if this went long, but as a Caret we want as much exposure for our guys. Please check out those dance practices and that video. I promise you won't be disappointed!!!!!

Hello, this is my first time watching a video from this channel, and I knew I had to subscribe pretty much in the first five minutes. Your commentary was so good and your personalities so great, that this video just made me raise my standards on what dance reactions should be, and it made me realize I need to clean up my subscriptions from a few channels 😝. I’m not saying there aren’t other good channels that do a nice job, there are, but this made me remember some others I’ve subscribed only because they reacted to a group I like, but that don’t have passion, knowledge and good vibes.

I’ve been a dancer for too many years to name without aging the bell out of myself, but in kpop, those kids *never* stop dancing. And that’s how it goes with the performing arts. The show must ALWAYS go on. Never EVER stop. Another thing is that hat could have hurt another member. They could’ve easily slipped on it. What the8 did was freaking really awesome.

Hey Donald! Thanks for the great analysis again as always. Just wanna mention now you've watched their most recent comeback, or choreography, so i'd say this is their most evolved performance yet if you begin to venture in viewing other songs & choreographies of theirs-which are absolutely amazing too, but just keep in mind you might see similar formations or less nuances in their dancing style because they were developing throughout the years. Thought i mention this so you can keep a steady expectation and not anticipate anything more or completely new than what you saw in this video but rather focus on how the choreography complemented the song&genre at the time. Like how one of you mentioned in the video, the point is to dance according to the music or vice versa so that's really seventeen's style when it comes to all of their amazing choreographies.
