4:10 fun fact the guy who’s in Center here was only 16 at the time (his name’s Jisung) yet he was already soo good! 5:15 they sort of do but only on shows like “Kingdom” (Stray Kids were in this one) and “Road To Kingdom” I recommend you check the performances for these competitions out cause they were all soo good and creative!! can you guys pls react to NCT 127 “Kick It” dance practice :)

NCT are some of the best dancers in the industry.

They don’t “battle” per se. There are big competition shows that individual members can be on sometimes, or like with Queendom, Road to Kingdom and Kingdom, the full groups would do performances to their own songs, each other’s songs, brand new songs, etc for votes and judge scores to win the ultimate title of Queens or Kings. There are also weekly shows where new songs compete against other new songs for votes to find out that week’s champion. The closest to an actual “battle” I can think of would be the MAMA 2020 performances of The Boyz, then Ateez, then StrayKids, then the “triangular fight” which was an introduction to the Kingdom lineup. They were pretty badass stages. Definitely better than anything we see in the US, and infinitely better than American music award shows.

5:30 they have a show called hit the stage when kpop idols battle each other on doing choreography.they have ten from nct taemin from shinee hyoyeon from girls generation and many others . you should check since they have many various styles too.

There is a program called "Kingdom" in Korea. This year there was a season and some kpop groups compete among themselves basically in stages or performances where sometimes they are singing, rap, dancing or simply the best presentation 👌🏽this year there were Stray Kids and Ateez, you already know them. You should ask Stay or Atiny for the best performances that there were this season or look for them yourself 👌🏽 there are even occasions where the best dance, singing or rap of each group get together to do something special in the program 🤠 it would be great if you will see them for the first time live not only dancing but singing and with the production and scenery so extravagant that kpop has live. I hope you can react to this here on KZbin, the fandoms would like to see what you think. (Sorry but I only speak Spanish and I had to pass it through the translator HAHAHA 🙏🏽)

If I'm mistaken this was NCT 2018 debut as a mega group when first 18 members of NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream came together briefly during that time until years after when WayV was created then much later down the road SUNGCHAN and SHOTARO was added as new NCT members making total of 23 members. Stray Kids does actually have one dance battle!! It's from their survival show when they were still a pre-debut team, but they battled against YG Entertainment's male trainees. In front of both their company heads too. Probably one of the goofiest choreos they've ever created themselves. Super fun to watch! It should be up on KZbin!

back in the day (like early 2010), in korean variety shows with kpop idols they would have dance/performance battles for fun. usually it was a korean thanksgiving special episode. good times. i agree they should do battles again for fun. friendly competition is always good

NCT is boygroup from SM Ent. One of the biggest kpop company also known as the company that has bunch of great dancers (considering top in South Korea) and NCT is the latest boygroup from this company. U should check out EXO and SHinee the older groups of Nct and their choreo are amazing

Day 20 unrelated but may I recommend you guys to watch SEVENTEEN HIT and Getting closer choreo vid, its a more kind of a dark and party concept but the choreo and the synchronization is FIRE. If you want beautiful choreo i reccomend fallin flower If extreme and on a another level then i guess Dont wanna cry ( personally the best for me ) If meaningful Thanks which is a song for the fans Hoping you guys would react more to SEVENTEEN thankss u wont regret it They make their own choreo and songs btw

There's not any battles like you would think of in terms of dance. There are competition shows like Queendom and it's follow ups Road to Kingdom, and Kingdom Legendary War, which were shows where groups were competing against eachother with live performances, and one episode they did have the main dancers of each group come out, team up and compete against eachother, but most of the performances were full stage performances. Actually before Kingdom Legendary War came out they did a 3 member battle style stage to get people hyped for it on MAMA which had a main dancer from Ateez, Stray Kids and The Boyz. Honestly RtK and KLW are amazing to watch in terms of the performances. They're gorgeous. I watched RtK not being a fan of any group (lesser known groups, or ones that had been on hiatus for a while), and The Boyz impressed me so much on that show I came out of it a fan. Their stages where gorgeous, production was amazing, the storyline they carried through, the camerawork, all of it was just next level. They won that show which got them a spot in Kingdom Legendary War this year. That had bigger groups like Stray Kids in it, and the stages in that show were also fantastic. All the groups worked stupid hard, and I came out following a lot more groups again. Stray Kids won and The Boyz came second, which were the 2 groups I started watching for, but everyone really impressed me week after week. YG and JYP have also organised their own battles between the trainees from their agencies over the years. I think the last one was done as part of Stray Kids predebut survival show. SKZ had a mini battle against trainees from YG, and the had it separated into rap, vocal and dance. There was also a battle style stage done yeeeeeaaaars ago between BTS and BlockB. But that wasn't really a battle, fairly sure it was a prepared stage for an award show that looked like a battle.

There was this one group battle and it was against a kpop from JYP (stray kids) and a kpop group from YG (sorry I am not familiar with the group). I strongly recommend yall check it out because they make their own choreo and since yall are dancers, you guys can also judge them based on who you think won.
