Thank you so much for acknowledging the "this feels like it's FOR the dance community" vibe! I only have one person in my life who listens to K-pop and I only know them online and they are not a dancer. Trying to explain that vibe/feeling to them is impossible. I don't know how to explain it, but I can FEEL it. That vibe is also what I get when I watch their Side Effects Performance Video. In that video, it's like they stop being idols for a bit and are just DANCERS. Their skill is amazing, their execution beautiful, and they WORK for it!! This caliber of performance that they do really makes them unmatched in the industry (in my opinion). I'm still pretty new to K-pop in general, but I have yet to see any full groups other than Stray Kids and Ateez who give me true dancer vibes across the entire group. The way they dance in these types of performances is just so, *dancer* and less idol who can dance well if that makes sense. It's not that the other idols CAN'T dance but they're not *DANCERS* they're idols who can dance. While that might sound like the same thing to non-dancers it's not and I feel so validated in this feeling through your comments around 2:00!!

Technically they did compete in a dance/performance competition called kingdom where they went up against other boy groups. I know I'm late to the party but if you haven't then definitely check out kingdom (Edit: I thought the one in the middle looked familiar, and my gut was right, so he maybe already knows about the kingdom performances😅)
