Dancers & Videographer React to Stray Kids "God Menu" Dance Practice

I don't know how to convey properly- these dance practices are not of the "music video choreography," this is the choreo for the song, period. When they perform their songs, they do this choreo at the same time, every time. Sometimes for award shows or special stages, they will switch it up a little, but what you just watched is the base performance choreo. If you go to their concert, this is what you will see. When you watch a kpop music show, this is what you will see. They sing live and perform this choreo. Not just for the music video. They are performance athletes and spend the majority of every day doing dance practice and vocal training. Again, not just for the music video.

You guys should check out the dance practice for Miroh by Stray Kids, the choreography incorporates maori haka. The company hired a choreographer from New Zealand to co-choreograph and teach them haka.

🚨PARAGRAPH ALERT🚨 Just a correction: choreography is performed all the time in kpop by artists; in music videos, at casual fan meetings, at festivals, on Korean music shows, at Korean award shows, etc. If you go to a live performance, kpop artists will sing live and dance at the same time and usually, the choreography is unchanged and remains just as difficult as it is in dance practices you watch. It’s honestly amazing how athletic and physically fit these people are. Kpop idols are recruited usually at the age of 10-13 and will train in song writing, composing, singing, dancing, etc. at an entertainment company for several years before getting the chance at debuting in a group. Listening to kpop for 10 years like I have raises your standards tremendously and (unfortunately) makes you realize how lacking Western music can be and how much more effort kpop puts into performance and music. I apologize for the literal essay! I just love that there are more reactors like you guys that are reacting to kpop! I watch a lot of videos and reactions from another kpop react channel, ReacttotheK. Their channel focuses on the music and sound of kpop and a big reason why I like their channel so much is because I’m always learning. A lot of new kpop reactors do the same thing and it gets kind of boring to watch since most of the time, they don’t really have much to say or analyze besides the visuals of the music video. I absolutely love to watch people who are knowledgeable and passionate about their work talk about what they see in kpop and I hope to see more soon! You seem to have many connections with people of varying backgrounds and I love how you bring them together to talk about a music video. Loving the reactions. I love seeing you all get excited when you see something that you really enjoy. Recently, I saw the MV for Hoshi's Spider. If you didn't know, Hoshi is the Seventeen's Performance Team Leader. It's a beautifully shot video with a lot of choreo that I feel you will really appreciate, even if you don't do a reaction to it. ahhh i love the god’s menu choreo so much, thanks for reacting to this! after this, a MUST WATCH artist to see is *kai* i would recommend *mmmh* (his solo debut) AND *kai:film* (this one is a visual album sampler) to react to! he’s been voted best dancer by other idols in the industry for 5 years straight and is amazing at what he does! if you want to see the mmmh choreo obviously you can watch the *mmmh dance practice* (you can also watch him perform *mmmh* on *studio choom* !) i would also suggest the *dance practice* for his song *reason* he’s just so talented i love him a lot and i’m sure you guys will love him too, thank you!! edit: ALSO *90s love* AND *make a wish* by *nct* are also must watches! the dance practices for these two songs are soooo good i highly recommend these too!
