You can tell Mark is a genuine artist. He was never faking it. During the harmonization sections, you can clearly hear Mark’s unique vocal style bleeding through this other kids’.

A review of Sparklehorse's Bird Machine brought me here. I stayed for the excellent performance of these two tine by Dancing Hoods (a band I'd never heard of). I just love Mark Linkous' guitar sound here.

What if in an alternate timeline, Linkous ended up replacing Bob Stinson in the Replacements, and then still went on to do Sparklehorse and give us all the great albums too? Would've been awesome to see!! I think he would've fit right in there around Pleased To Meet Me era!

A lot of wasted talent. The drummer is my great uncle... They should all be sitting in mansions with Bentlys outside

Looks like a fucking cool show from an old Brit here… we had the Tube on a Friday night which could be rad. This is excellent! (Sick of goodbyes brought me here, a 90s classic for me…)

Donald Short, thanks for posting this old footage. And for the great Dancing Hoods music 30+ years ago!

Back before everyone and their mom knew about those Teles with the CuNiFe wide range humbucker, you couldn't give them away

Mark wouldn't sound out of place at all playing guitar for the mats. That would've been amazing
