After reading the title I decided that this movie wasn't worth of being watched, but at the certain point I didn't have anything to see, so I thought to give it a look and fortunately it created immediately the desire to see it until the end. I thought Alina lived elsewhere with Denis. So Denis regularly comes back to this place to kill women? and nobody in this place knows him? It's a bit hard to get the storyline there..

​@@landang7906 other women were killed about 2 years before and they were "pros" picked up outside town in the "ring road" near his father's farm house which is not in town. actually if viewer eliminate father as a suspect ( as he is the most obvious, viewers should do that since making him murderer will make the show too simple) viewer will see all sort of clues pointing to denis from 1st episode. at soem point he and alina herself should be the only viable suspects for viewers. this is one series where viewers do have advantage over detectives in solving .

Go see the number of different ethnicities live there.....Russians, Tatars, Bashkirs, Kalmyks, Kalugans, Ossetians, Ingush, Chechens, Georgians, Abkhazians, Kazakhs, Turkmens, Uzbeks etc But obviously idiots like you have this strange romanticised idea of Russia being some kind of White people only heartland. 😂😂

OK. Interesting. When you watch US series, you can tell the cliches and so on, and you know that if a famous actor is involved, he/she will likely be the culprit. I guessed the culprit from the beginning, but the misdirections were really well planted. I love the insight into scenery, customs etc.

Too slow, too contrived, too confusing, too non-believable. Cardboard characters. A total bore. I wasted two hours waiting for something interesting to happen. Instead, it got worse and worse . Time to cut my losses.
