You already had given a hint last week through your short "Behind the Scenes Video", only I had assumed that you would release "Dancing queen" last week. So you misled me, but it was worth it, because "Here without you" was overwhelmingly good, I don't think I've ever praised you so much for any other song (except maybe "Thank you for the music" and .... and ...). But back to "Dancing queen", ABBA's only #1 hit in the US and one of their most successful songs ever. The song is an absolute icon. It was performed in 1976 at the Stockholm Opera House on the occasion of the wedding of Swedish King Carl-Gustav to German Silvia Sommerlath, effectively as a song for the new queen. Since that time (so for 47 years) it is one of my absolute favorite songs. And now you sing the version that will accompany me from now on for the rest of my life. You have already sung "Dancing queen" twice - once with Giulia and the other time as a duo with your "blonde sister" 😉. She's been taking lessons. Compared to her renditions of a year ago her voice is fuller. And she's not just singing the song like she did a year ago. Dancing Queen is a song about a young girl enjoying herself on the dance floor, enjoying the attention she is receiving. That is coming over in this rendition, how a young girl's feels knowing that she is the dancing queen. It will be interesting to see how this young woman develops as a singer. Right now it looks promising.
