I sure understand what you're saying about Jack Mercer,Brian. He's underestimated because the only regular character he voiced was Popeye-but he voiced a variety of characters for different cartoons over the years.I later found out he did all the voices in Felix the Cat. As I later found out Dayton Allen did all the voices in Deputy Dawg and Lariat Sam. I saw his name and recognized his voice in the Lancelot Link show,too.
