I remember that the beta version of DDRMAX didn't have removed songs. Makes me wonder what the 5th mix exclusives' banners look like.

I'd love to see the data for the cut song Eyes On Me from DDR 4th mix. But after all these freakin years I"ve never seen it. Tcrf is missing a LOT of info on the hidden data in these DDR game disks. Both home versions and arcade. Like the DDR Max USA demo from that official playstation magazine I found sound data for "Ain't It Good" from beatmania many many years ago. It's the disk with I think the sly cooper logo on the label. I still have the disk here somewhere. Also on the official ddr site back in the day DDR MAX arcade was going to have the beatmania songs. There was a official screenshot with it. And I think they found Dance Mania X data on the arcade disk too years ago. The interface did change a bit too and the fonts as well. And stuff like So Deep being a 10 on DDR Max 2 test location. I know the Stay banner was different then too. Plus a thank you for playing graphic with Emi only used for the test location. Sorry I could go on and on about the past I have with this game. XD

I was shocked about style of selection of difficulty here. It is different from DDR. It would have been better if color of speakers matches color of difficulty names. If play style is VERSUS, I am curious and wondering how the selection of difficulty of two players looks like. Are the selection of difficulty of two players cooperative or non-cooperative? It would have been better if EVENT MODE is used, so that there is no time limit and sample playback of song will be completely heard before it is selected for game play. Its CD artwork in music select and stage result are not the same.

For versus play, they can only play on the same difficulty. This is also the case for DDR 1st, 2nd and USA Arcade.

This is not a Konami original. If the BGAs have been reused from another track, then I assume it's taken from some Konami original. I remember when "Mucho Mambo ~Sway~" caused the announcer to say the "Konami sound" line and re-use the animations from "MAKE IT BETTER", despite "Mucho Mambo ~Sway~" not being a Konami original.

If you talk about the BGAs, all the music shares the BGAs even if they are not original from Konami since they must have the rhythm of the music.

​@@tellyn100 I just realized. Beats Like This replaced So Good for this video, and that announcer also said that that was a "Konami sound". That probably meant that So Good's BGA's were also based off a prior Konami Original, but no prior song had those animations before So Good used those.

In the results screen, the CD is blue, but it's green in the song wheel
