@@rigelbloom-hy9pfI was thinking watching the video that smoking is going to make it to where one day she won’t be able to dance like this anymore because her lungs won’t be good enough for her to do it. She won’t be able to breathe well enough dancing like that, won’t be able to catch her breath. I know we all get old and can’t move the same anyway at that point, but smoking sure speeds up the process. It’s beautiful to dance and let loose - I did love watching this video for that aspect. When I first started watching this, it felt like, "This is too personal. I shouldn't be seeing this... I'm not supposed to be here." But I like the song. I'd never heard it before, and the skyline kinda looks like by home, here in Texas, so I lingered. Soon it dawned on me that the whole point was that yeah, it IS personal. It is something I wouldn't see, but she isn't really trying to be "seen". She's just being herself, and it doesn't matter if I see that. She's happy, and she's experiencing the flow of the music, and life is just good sometimes, and you have to let yourself feel it when it's like that. Thanks for being openly honest Ms Folger. I didn't expect this to feel so right, but it did, and I enjoyed that feeling with you, if only for a little while.

What is it about this that keeps bringing me back? The song? The expression? I don't really know why this particular video calls to me so much. It's honest. Raw. It's like a memory I never lived. A life I'll never know. Perhaps... it's the freedom? The expression? The ability to let go so fully and experience something truly in the moment. I think that's it. Something about the absurdity of life with the profound enigma of music. Then again; perhaps I've had too many drinks and I'm just talking out my ass again. How absurd, right?
