But nobody is going to pay 500$ (aka as much as ENTIRE Quest 3 headset alone with subscription) for the set of trackers that is mixed bag, PCVR ONLY, and works only with HTC headsets that pseudostandalone products?

I hope in the future they can be used with other vr headsets or at least pcvr headsets. Not every headset supports lighthouse tracking and IMUs have some major problems so hopefully the Vive ultimate trackers are at least more reliable than the Slimevr and Haritora

imma be completely honest vrchat dancers in raves or partys dont dance that slow soo if you show some breack dance with it or shuffle etc fast dances and they ACTUALLY have good tracking then yes its worth it if not slimes are the best option they may slide but they handdle hard moves i myself tested them

Yeah they aren't that great, but that's not suprising considering HTC made the Vive Cosmos, and that even Quest Pro controllers from Meta suck at tracking.

You're not gonna be able to use 10 slime VR trackers, at least for vrchat Im unsure about other games but vrchat can do only up to 11 point (ur controllers and headset count as well so your already -3)

Heard nothing but horror stories about these. All the reviews I've seen are how complicated it is etc. Now I learn they don't work with quest. I'd pour money in if I knew it was reliable and would work for my pcvr or Shadowpc.

It’s not like they said maybe so yes I did spend $500+ because they will eventually be compatible. If you can’t wait and be patient that’s your problem. It's sad that the only real show we get of the tracking quality is of someone who barely moves with them. You could've taken a breakdancer or something wild to show off the tracking quality... or are you hiding something? Even the announcement video only had like a few seconds of footage of actual full body VR usage and it was all slow movements barely moving in the playspace, at that point you can just use the IK integrated in most games... You are not really showing the possibilities of the hardware... Also seems like you didn't even make the effort to send them to reviewers so we can get early reviews of the product. This is just a mess of a launch for a product that would be really amazing for many VR users...
