2 years ago I found abook of this type of Chaos Mágic. The name of the book was"Liber Null" . This book teaches "psychological magical techniques" to control your mind at will. It almost k*lled me. Also made me experience the demonic. In a very real way, Gladly, it also drove me to Orthodox christianity. Chaos magick is also advertised as very harmless and using the subconscious when in reality it uses the power of evil spirits. Lord have mercy on us.

I read the same book. Got deep into occultism, gnosticism, Jung, etc etc. All the same demonic crap. My life fell apart and Christ saved me and delivered me from demons.

Back when I was an artist I was in a band that's the guys really liked Aleister Crowley and had songs about him and they were all into magic and dark stuff and I started researching into it and had some literature I things started to happen. I would paint pictures of people before meeting them and one time I drew a picture of lightning hitting my friend's house and 2 hours later a storm came over and lightning hit his tree outside and we were freaking out little things like that it was so scary. There's probably something to it I don't want to know. Now I'm attending the Orthodox Church thanks to from people like you that introduced me to Orthodoxy

Years ago before I was even close to beginning to consider that Christ is the Truth, I had a very strong intuition that I should not wear clothing with brand logos on them. I couldn’t really justify it, but I just knew that there was something wrong with wearing these symbols on my body. This video helps me to understand that what I was sensing was that I was being complicit in the sigil magick of these corporations and bands whose agendas were not totally known to me. I know that magick is sinful for us to practice, but I am left wondering: if magick is sort of “hacking” a natural process, is there a good way to behave in accordance with those very natural principles? Is writing out a plan, reviewing it each and every day, telling your friends and family your intentions, and obtaining the material means of executing that plan basically the same process as what is described in this video? At what point does the practice become magick and evil? I am asking sincerely as a follower of Christ.

Magic is warping reality to your-self will with demonic powers. These are lying spirits, and since Christ is Truth, and truth will ALWAYS overpower, He will take back the little or big distortions of his truth, the lies back, mostly in this life by force and certainly after death. Magic, sorcery and divination, is ALWAYS evil according to the Bible. Always. It replaces God, who tries out of love to harmonize all, respecting our free will, and gives life, with idols: self, each other, demons, dragon. It deifies all that is opposed to God, and therefor it deifies evil as only God is pure goodness, love and truth. Also: God truly has miraculous powers. Magic is a counterfeit and has not at all the much greater power of YHWH and Jesus, like raising from the dead, having the keys to Hades, being able to work many miracles in our world. Jesus is King! And once you truly submit to Him, He will show you that faith in Him is so much more beneficial to you and others than any magic and you will be shown wonders, signs and miracles. He will answer prayers if you find His will, and not yours. It's a skill you learn by getting to know Him through the Bible. Once you start to do magical practices, God turns His face away from you, and you lose the benefits He only can bestow on you. Demons will start to destroy your life, relationships, and all you get involved with.

I think a short video on the backstory of the dark souls game universe and its obvious occult elements would be good, I think you will be able to find the videos on youtube which explain a lot of it e.g. vaatvidya's videos. Its a broad mythos but the core elements are pretty simple, like a lot jrpg content its inspired by mysticism, sort of a perennial mix up of kabbalah, gnosticism, Zoroastrianism, egyptian alchemy, etc. Look up undiscovered secrets of dark souls 2 video and go from there...
