I've been a Hello Kitty lover and collector since I was pregnant with my Son in 1987. I came across some Hello Kitty baby items and I thought they were so cute. I've never stopped collecting; I just turned 62 and I'd be over the moon eating here. My best friend thinks I'm a bit mad, thinks it's a bit babyish, but I don't care. She bought me a Hello Kitty Hula dancer to put on the dashboard of my car. I hate having anything on my dashboard, but Hula Hello Kitty gets a pass. Mrs. Bacon is absolutely adorable.

I wish they did more interesting advertising, marketing, collaborations, product releases and businesses in the US/EU like they do in parts of Asia. A Hello Kitty or other Sanrio Mascot cafe would be successful if it was in an accessible and popular city like London or New York. I remember this very niche game i like when it first came out in japan had a collaboration to have a special menu at a local cafe when it first released. You don’t really see interesting stuff like that here. The only thing i can think of is the recent Sailor Moon shoe collection.

That much food makes my stomach hurt just by looking at it! I admire your dedication to try it all. Do you ever get take-home boxes for the leftovers? (Which is common here in America- when you go out you usually get meals much bigger than you can eat in one sitting, with the expectation that you can take it home for a meal the next day!) But wow I'm envious of the amazing desserts too! Thanks for always sharing such fun meals with us.

Most place here in Singapore do allow take away, although we don't make it a habit here in restaurants. Probably because we eat mostly in small portions, so it doesn't make too much sense as leftovers are likely too small for a full meal next time

i grew up eating strawberry with the leaves on, i think my mom and dad grew up eating strawberry this way, i think it was more of a dont waste any part of the fruit mentality that we had growing up so we just never question if a part of a fruit isnt edible aside from the cores and pits.

You could not use the coasters to avoid damage , then cast them in resin so u can keep and use them as coasters, they won't get damaged then. 😻 The puddings looked amazing. I bet they were yummy.

I’d love it if we had these places here in Canada but sadly hotpot culture isn’t big here like in Singapore….as a Singaporean(by way of my grandparents,you’d never know it by looking at me unless you’ve met my father and even he’s second generation,but my brother and I both take after our Canadian Mother!)I wish it was though!!!
