Batman has taken on a lot of criminal underworlds during his time as the Caped Crusader, from simple Gotham City mafias, to the globe-spanning League of Assassins, to the ever secretive Court of Owls. But can he match and take on the world of John Wick, the Continental, and the High Table? If he somehow uncovers evidence of secret world of hitmen and assassins that stretches across the entire globe (which honestly wouldn’t be very hard - they’re pretty out in the open about it) can Batman hope to expose them, taking down the High Table, dismantling the Continental? Well today, thats what we’re gonna find out!

What would exposing them do really?! They are imbedded everywhere, they have money and power. JW4 acknowledged that the High Table is like a hydra. If one dies, another will take that member’s place. Hell, people know that the FBI has been dirty and been used as a weapon against citizens and political rivals since its inception and the citizens of this country don’t even bat an eye. Hell, if The High Table is as thorough as they are portrayed in the movies, they control the media also. Hell, they probably have several people on Wayne Industry’s board.

And Batman couldn’t beat Bane during Knightfall. That is what fighting the High Table would be like. The first 3 films took place in about a week. They would wear him down until they killed him. The only reason why he lasted to a 4th movie is because he was hiding out recovering from his injuries. I’d say that as long as Batman has a “no kill” rule he wouldn’t last as long as JW. Batffleck would be the closest one to make it.

During Bruce's training under Ra's Al Ghul, there's a gauntlet that released another fighter every time he took one down. If I remember correctly, it went on for at least 36 hours because he refused to kill them. They called him a demon because of that. None of those assassins are gonna even come close to that level of stamina and endurance. Also, throughout the entire time Bruce fought in the gauntlet, he didn't even break a sweat.

Some of his masters were affiliated with the League (David Cain and Kirigi specifically) but he never trained under Ra's that was only the Nolan movies). I think one important thing to look at since we're talking about using comic Batman instead of live action, is that comic Batman is depicted as being peak human. But when you actually look at his feats (or any other peak human in comics for that matter), he's clearly beyond what a regular live action human like John Wick could do. Batman's comic feats include: -Punching through thick bulletproof glass -Holding his breath for 6 min -Catching an arrow that Green Arrow fired (which he uses draw that's far more weight than a regular real world archer would use) -Benches 1,000lbs. -Broke 8 bones of his opponent with one punch -Dodges gun fire at near point-blank range due to reading the body movements and predictions of the shooters. John Wick skilled as he may well be, isn't going to be able to hang against someone like Batman. And he's definitely the top tier assassin of that world. If he can't hang against Batman, then logic states neither would the High Council.

To me, Batman would never approach the scenario as you laid out, one guy against millions. If he had to plan for years or months to even the numbers, He would do it. At least that's my opinion. Batman, as the guy making this happen, would not act alone but recruit, he would seek out weak spots as they are and as they might become, gain resources, plant spies, draw from the League of Assassins numbers, chip away the high and low ranks, establish underworld/legit prisons needed to hold key hard core administrators of the Leagues mechanisms/processes, etc,... and if it were that important to him, he and his cabal, his mafia, his crime fighting underworld, would never quit. He's not an idiot, he would redefine what victory actually looks like. Batman wins (when Batman determines he wins)

Batman wouldn’t be able to pull this off. It’d look like he had, but the High Table would have simply played possum. They’d wait until the Dark Knight had moved on, then resume activities. However, the Punisher would totally decimate them to the last. Castle would hunt every single ranking member of that order down and kill them. Playing possum would not work with him. Castle would not stop until he knew for a fact they were all dead.

You know, the High Table would be a good inspiration for how to handle the Court of Owls in the The Batman universe if they ever decide to make them the villains in a sequel. The format could be that they place a bounty on Batman, and he ends up having to fight waves of assassins after the bounty, it would be a good opportunity to introduce famous characters like Deathstroke and Deadshot in that universe. Then when they bounty isn’t enough, the Court decides to send in the Talons since they’re tougher

Some of these people really dont even know who Batman is if they think he can't beat the High Table. Batman has tons of gadgets, weapons, vehicles, tanks, armors, a green lantern ring, is a master of stealth and deception, has genius level intellect, a tactical and inquisitive mind, is skilled in multiple martial arts and is at peak human conditioning. He can lift 1000lbs and only requires 3 hrs of sleep. He takes down powered villians and metahumans using his wits and skill nightly. He would wreck John Wick, Caine, Common, the filipino guy and the High table combined.

Batmans difficulty taking down entire organizations was a really good point, batman easily fodderizes the organization but theyre far too big to wipe away. So batman might not be the guy who can eliminate the table, but I honestly think Red Hood could do it. He’d take over the table first and then break it up from the inside.

There is one deterrent I can think of that might put the high table off their high horse, the Hell Bat armor. Yes, I know the armor may be a double edge sword in that it drains Batman’s metabolism faster than Flash’s speed force metabolism; however, the power it provides might be enough for the high table to reconsider doing any business that Batman will learn about. Or go with the Batman contingency plan if he were to go rogue, the Justice League.

In the comics Batman once took down the world's 7 top assassins in a matter of seconds. In terms of taking down organizations he took down the Gotham branch of the Court of Owls and crippled their operations in North America and he did all of this to the Owls within a year of focusing a decent chunk on them. He took down the Falcones a crime family based in Gotham but had reach throughout the U.S. and into Europe and he took their organization down in just 3 years. Before Batman came to Gotham 3/4 of the cops were corrupt and he took down most of the corrupt police force within 1 year. He almost took down the League of Assassins which led to a divide between the League after Ra's death basically causing internal fighting that almost destroyed the organization itself. Back in Gotham he has taken down every organized crime gang in Gotham except for the "new guys" such as Joker, Two-Face, Penguin and Black Mask and one of the reasons their organizations have survived with Batman is because they have learned to live with him and the trouble he brings them. Point being in the comics Batman has shown himself capable of taking down organizations like this but comic writers don't want to permanently get rid of any of these groups.

Batman vs John Wick is such a good fight especially technically and skill wise. Two of earth's and man's most skilled fighters ever but Batman is just so strong, too strong in fact he's made to be the strongest man ever so I think he takes it if they ever fought. Especially with prep time but this is a 1 on 1 fight without prep time so he won't be able to study John Wick and how he fights and what he likes to do. The biggest thing Batmam has going is that his identity is hidden. So the only time he has to worry about being attacked is when he's actively being Batman, and thus on alert. From there it's a matter of time. He's the greatest detective alive so he'll be able to start slowly taking the organization apart. On the point of him never succeeding in his story, he's also being pulled in multiple directions between the various crime groups, his powered rogues gallery, and then his efforts to help the Justice League. If he was instead singularly focused on one group, he'd be able to pick it apart one thread at a time. He also has the tendency to adopt and train helpers, meaning he would get more manpower as he went.

I can see Batman turning it into a psi-op. He may try to set the members of the High Table against one another. Also, is the High Table is in the DC universe or is Batman in the JW universe. If the HT is in the DCU, then they may have super villains to call on, and would the Owls and the LoA be part of the HT or outliers? Lots of things to consider. Flash Point Batman (Tomas Wayne) would be fun in the JW world.
