I'm an old man now (56) I grew up watching Godzilla shows and loved them, I'm happy I was able to see this new breed of shows. While I am team Godzilla, my wife of (38 years) isTeam Kong. I had the best time leading up to the release of the first Kong X Godzilla movie and my wife and me had friendly banter and made bets for two weeks before the movie was released, we had not been to the movies in 7 or 8 years but we went opening night to see this one, and I won the bets and still have not let her live it down that I won. Ah Good Times.

I think pink goji is stronger (imo) Spoilers for the movie: it was stated that gojis new pink form multiplied his capacity by 20 times, not 20 percent. Also to note that the reason why Tiamat is glowing pink is because her lair is a gold mind of solar radiation which comes from the sun. After Godzilla kills Tiamat he uses her lair to “hibernate” and in doing so he absorbs every amount of solar radiation he can get to the point where he needs to physically evolve, and that is why he is pink in the movie.

I also saw the 20x capacity thing but I think fire goji is stronger. Kong can still keep up with pink goji after the form change. Gi went from beating goji to getting near oneshot by fire. Not to mention I'm pretty sure pink is the new base form while fire is a one time super form; it wouldnt really make sense for goji to be permanently amped up so much. Thats some powercreep if it actually is the case.

20 times capacity does not mean 20 times more power output, nowhere does it state that his output got stronger at all, i mean we literally saw the scar king getting grazed by evolved godzilla's atomic breath yet it did the same damage that kong got from base godzilla's atomic breathin the previous GxK, meaning that the evolved atomic breath is relative to the previous atomic breath Whereas thermonuclear pulse literally evaporated ghidora who could tank base godzilla's atomic breath for a considerable amout of time. As far as power output goes Thermonuclear pulse > Evolved atomic breath, and its not even close

Yo @DanCo, You mentioned 20%, but in the movie i'm pretty sure they showed 20X more energy capacity, not 20%. So pink goji isn't 120% stronger, but has 20X more energy capacity than his previous form. Which is why even shimu and kong were in awe of godzilla being able to quite easily stop the ice storm shimu created and completely blew out all the clouds in the surrounding area

And even tho kong was beating down godzilla, godzilla himself was underestimating kong, and then took kong more seriously and almost beat him again until mothra interrupted, so I doubt he can just take that 20% increase for kong (I don't remember anywhere in the movie stating this btw) and use it to validate godzilla's power up

From my understanding, Godzilla gets his radiation’s from the hallow crystal that more radiation, then on land. But from the crystal that we have seen in both gvk and gxk the crystal colors was Pink,blue,lime or light green, and yellow.

Now if she was in control, you most definitely would have seen strategy. Literally every time she was commanded to attack you could see her trying to fight it. Not only is she far more durable than King Ghidora, Shimo's ice attacks are a counter to him. It's simply a bad matchup.

There's a fair argument to be made for either form of monsterverse Godzilla to be stronger than the other. Burning monsterverse Godzilla was able to easily defeat and destroy Ghidorah, while Evolved monsterverse Godzilla had the edge during his fight with Shimo. I honestly think that evolved Godzilla has the slight edge due to it being a permanent powered up state for Godzilla.

Pink Godzilla solves alot of issues visually for me. Bigger head. Less chunky torso(not that i minded his torso before since Goji is a chunky mofo. The new dorsal plate design is so good too. I loved how it mimicked 54 before but this shape of spine just fits imo. Im a big milennium fan though. Sorry for typos i have been drinking plus youtube does not implement autocorrect. That's only you're headcanon. Wait until the novelazation. I already have the Audiobook and Evolved Godzilla is stronger than burning. All his physcal attributes are higher than Burning and his atomic breath is also more powerful. and monarch officials saying Evolved Godzilla is a medium weight fighter that fought a heavy weight Shimo, and their were in disbelief how strong Shimo is. After Evolved Godzilla goes Supercharge (which is stronger than burning) it's said he is now equal to Shimo, they didn't knew who would win at that point, but normal Evolved Godzilla isn't on Shimos level. Post-Rio Battle Kong said Shimo was the strongest thing he ever faced, including Godzilla.

Since during Rio Battle Evovled Godzilla is still said weaker as Shimo, only after Supercharge he is said to be equal with her, by monarch. This is discussable. Evolved Godzilla does take every physical attribute, yes, but there's not much of a power gap for each physical attribute. Thermo isn't far behind as it retains the same strength as an amped godzilla who was able to stop a charging 141,000 titan without flinching. For dura, thermo was able to tank millions of degrees of pure temperature and ghidorah's beams without damage or even an effect. There's no reason or statement as to how or why evolved godzilla would gain more durability. As of right now, we have very limited statements regarding evolved G. Secondly, "his atomic breath stronger than thermo's" what? His pulse? His strength? Be specific. I'm assuming you're talking about thermo's pulse. Since we have no statements regarding evolved g's beam temperature and thermo's pulse temperature, it's incredibly irrational to perceive evolved g's beam as "stronger" than thermo's pulse. It's rational to think that thermo's pulse is stronger as it not only comes by in an intense and suspenseful setting, but was able to melt KG's skin while evolved wasn't able to even nudge shimo's skin. Thirdly, evolved godzilla goes supercharged when? When he turns all pink? Once again, irrational to think so. Our only information regarding "supercharged evolved godzilla" is him turning more pink. That's all. Not stronger or weaker than any other base form. Thus, that leads us to the idea that he logically would still not be equal to shimo, even at that state. And who didn't know who'd win that fight? The people from your book? What book? Godzilla x Kong the hunted? Where does it state that? Plus Godzilla and Shimo are not equal at ALL. Throughout most of the fight, evolved g "sucker tackled" a distracted shimo (who was focused on protecting skar king, fighting kong, and fighting the pain + controlled), and when Shimo actually fought back (say when Shimo dragged evolved g across the buildings and got held in the face), evolved g got mauled HARD. Not only did he get sent backwards, but he also got dragged across tons of buildings and in one of the earlier scenes in brazil--even THROWN hundreds of meters away. There's a big difference between a controlled shimo with all those variables and a focused shimo. Shimo is quite literally presented in the MOVIE ITSELF to be more powerful than evolved g on equal grounds.

In kotm Godzilla became thermonuclear like in gxk but he was powered by Mothra's energy when she died. In gxk Godzilla assorbed a new energy and became much stronger and at the end of the movie, he even became thermonuclear with the new energy (when he fought Scar King using his atomic breath, e became entirely pink, not just his dorsal plates) Now, imagine if Mothra died in this movie too and Godzilla received her energy when he was evolved thermonuclear: Maybe his new energy can't receive Mothra's energy, but, if it can... Aniways, when Godzilla is thermonuclear and powered by Mothra at the same time, is definitely a lot stronger than when he is evolved.

What are you talking about? Kong only had the upper hand temporarily before Godzilla used his atomic breath and almost killed Kong which forced Mothra to intervene. Godzilla still beat Kong easily and even easily beat Skar King whom Kong struggled against. Godzilla is not meant to have the same screen time as typical protagonists, he's supposed to be a force of nature. The longer screen time fits Kong's character better as he tends to show a human-like personality being a super intelligent primate plus the fact that Godzilla is already in more Monsterverse movies than Kong.

Fire Godzilla for sure. For one it looks way more awesome and devastating looking. I may not have seen the pink Godzilla upgrade yet, they may be better than Fire dorsal fins, but the fire just pure dominates any superior kaiju in front of Godzilla from what I've seen so far.

Godzilla in gvk and gxk would already hold that same energy at a much greater scaler since got gets more powerful and stronger as he gets older stated in the novel. 3. The thermo pulses wouldn’t do anything to Godzilla since he already contains that energy. 4. Envolved Godzilla has gamma radiation at way bigger scale then any mv or live action Godzilla and since it envolve he hold more gamma radiation then any mv Godzilla. 5. If you think about g19 is just g14 without the emp nerf and way faster and more durable. 6. Since they are the same Godzilla envolve would be able to defeat ghidorah way faster and easier since ghidorah would have lost to a base g19 and we know envolve g > g19
