The author took a month off to prepare for this arc. It's really been nothing but Mystery and Setup for the last couple months, but you can tell that it's leading to something big. -Dandadan is an actual Thing -Okarun doesn't have powers -The concept of taking someone elses' power has been introduced -Sanjome tried to steal Okarun's power but failed -someone specifically wants momo's powers and is manipulating kouki When the anime ends on episode 12, the manga will probably drop a bombshell

The Momo, Okarun and Aira thing isn't a true love triangle-- which is what I like about it! A lot of stories are doing this now, where there is one clear romantic pairing and then romantic rivals. Aira and Jiji are both this-- but in both of these cases the dynamic between Momo/Aira and Okarun/Jiji is actually more important narratively. Their rivals push them to improve themselves and figure out what they want faster. Meanwhile Momo and Okarun are only really focused on each other.

I don't mind Aira as a love rival because she is one of my favorite characters, but also because she really isn't antagonistic to Momo. Aira has never really gone out of her way to actively try to sabotage Momo getting closer to Okarun, and its clear Momo and Aira are close friends at this point in the story

There is no love triangle. Ken has already confessed to Momo and Momo already admitted that she loves him. Momo being trapped as a tiny pixie at the moment is literally the only reason they aren't already dating. As for the nurse, she's probably involved with the aliens. Especially if she's able to enter empty space.

Its not a love triangle and never has been imo because okarun does not like aira. Aira serves more to solidifying momo and okarun imo. Aira pushes momo to be more direct just like jiji pushes okarun to be more direct. I personally think jiji and aira will show mutual interest in eachother before okarun and momo make things official.

Personally; I do love Aira, but i definitely don’t consider it a love triangle because he truly only love’s Momo. I think of it more like train tracks, Oka and Momo’s line’s point to each other, with other people (Aira, Jiji, Vamola) trying to jam themselves infront of said lines to get their attention. So, personally I don’t mind Aira’s love for Oka, or Jiji’s feelings for Momo since they’re just not true competition or threats towards the OkaMomo train.

@ Vamola definitely isn’t trying anymore, she’s settled down; but she was rather adamant about getting a husband at first. Aira is more focused on her feelings, and I think she definitely has a crush on Oka, but she also knows he won’t go for her so I agree her teasing is more just natural at this point, and if you think of it in a sad way, it’s the only way she has to get close to the boy she might love/like since she knows she can’t get closer than that. Jiji is just a good guy. That’s it, he’s just awesome. His ‘romance’ aspect seems to have settled down a lot since the evil eye incident, though it cropped up briefly during the training session whilst Oka was unconscious, but it’s settled down again.

There is so much Tatsu needs to explain, it would be disappointing if he ends the series sooner. -We haven't concluded Vamolas story -We haven't explored the subterranean people - we haven't explored the concept of other gods and spirit mediums on other regions besides Shono City -Jiji hasn't mastered his powers and control evil eye yet - we haven't gotten a proper back story on Okarun Dandadan can basically go on for another 200 chapter to be honest. The sky is the limit.

I think the love dynamic between Okarun, Aira, Momo and by extension, Jiji, feels different because unlike a normal anime love triangle, it is made abundantly clear that Momo and Okarun both have eyes for one another alone, but it does make me wonder what will be the response from Aira and Jiji if they become official (i personally think Jiji may be a little bummed but then be super happy for them)

My personal theory is that the nurse is Momo's Mother. She uses the same expressions as her like "Bladies" when they all have hair. She uses a bat as Seiko, which she would have learned at an early age since she is presumably her mother. She also has a similar design as Momo. And that would explain why she can enter empty space, she has a lot of spiritual power as Momo and Seiko!

Personally I am bored of the love triangle because there is zero reciprocation from Okaruns side, not even a little bit. He 100% focused on Momo. Love triangles are usually interesting when the main love interest has conflicting feelings with the other 2 in the triangle. I used to like the love triangle between Momo, Aira and Okarun. It has overstayed it's welcome and I hope Tatsu finally realizes this

Here's my question: Is the nurse related to momo at all. She does share some resemblance to momo and has some of the same mannerisms. The nurse calls the kids' baldies when they clearly have hair. Momo also calls okarun this out of frustration. Maybe momo doesn't remember her parents because she was so young when they died. Maybe her mother didn't die, and she's undercover as the school nurse to protect momo. Maybe granny is in on it and didn't tell momo.

To me, Aira's interest in Okarun has always seemed a little underbaked but tolerable, because it replaced her mean girl persona fairly quickly. Also as much as she flirts with him, Okarun really only has any interest in Momo. Like it's not even close, Aira doesn't have a shot, get a clue girl. But at least the teasing is cute character trait because it Keeps him a little uncomfortable around her where he's gotten way more comfortable with Momo.

I don't mind the so-called love triangle at all since it's obviously not serious. Aira's crush on Okarun is always played out as a comedic purpose and nothing more. TBH, I don't even remember Aira acting serious about this crush either. Has she ever? I don't really remember. If anything, Jiji's crush is more serious, but that's understandable since he's known Momo since childhood. Anyways, this whole thing doesn't annoy me or make me hate any characters at all. Like am I supposed to hate Shampoo and Ukyo for simping on Ranma? Heck no, it's hilarious!

​@@andrewvasquez3615 Just be patient, the author is leaving breadcrumbs for the climatic part of the arc, I clearly remember how people were saying the same thing in the first half of the Danmara arc (Brella boy arc). People were saying the brella boy arc is boring, now it's considered as one of the best arcs in the series.
