DANDADAN Is Still A TRASH Manga

We are going over why Dandadan should be avoided at all costs, not to be taken seriosuly, and expose the series for what it is, Tatsu and Lin are having the time of their lives getting the masses to consume more Shonen garbage once as y'all always do.

To me, this series is meh. I think the ideas and concepts are decent enough, but story/writing and funny moments aren't for me.

How it isn't another huge middle finger to the reader and you can just enjoy a lighthearted actionpacked story with deep scenes that doesn't ultimately equate to killing off everyone? 😂 How there isn't an ultra confusing power system and the main point is to entertain you. A lot of people love DanDaDan, and like it or not, it's not cause we're all retards and you're the only competent one, you simply don't want the same thing from anime and manga.

@@taka-yuki-mh what are you yapping about? dandadan has twisted the whole ideea of shonen, it implemented romance, comedy, gag and school life PERFECTLY WITH THE IDEEA of aliens and ghosts, every episodes shifts from peaceful to a battle arena so smoothly it puts every other shonen to shame, and the fact that its plot is so weird makes it unique, it makes it stand out from the typical shonen that's just another battle between good n evil, and the fact that u mentioned that the romance between okarun and momo doesn't make sense is even more stupid, "a girl that stands up for the nerdy boy, it's not right" don't forget that momo ain't that one typical girl that would join the bullies, and the thing that makes the romance work is the fact that they can tease each other to an extent that they're not going to be hurt be one another and the fact that they can relate to they're past experiences and they'r current ones, you should really document better and pay attention to details instead of instantly saying it's trash Dandadan is unique in all sorts of ways and u cannot say it's trash when u didin't even read the manga properly

dandadan 's story isn't supposed to be deep, it was always supposed to be about the characters and the romance, the backstories worked because even because of the repetitiveness of them they explain the motives of each character, evil eye's desire to always play with people all the while not understanding them, vamola finding a strong husband and the reason for her mech suit, these backstories are what helps the audience understand the characters motives and reason for why they act the way they do, which enhances the character and adds a level of depth to them, art is also a major factor of visual storytelling, take that away and you're taking part of the story away the character's aren't going to always appeal to the older audience because they're meant to be normal teenagers, but they each have their own endearing trait, momo always admitting her mistakes when she can't tell her feelings, okarun's strive and efforts to be a stronger and better person, aira leading her friends to get better and her clumsy navigation of her life and relationships, jiji's bravery and care for the ones that he love, vamola trying her best to connect and bond with the people of this planet despite the language barrier, these are all traits that make them who they are(also, for some of the designs, the author isn't putting those in for praising points, it's obviously an ohmage to the media that he he enjoys and is a fan of, people don't make stories praising points and have people say "oh wow look at this reference so smart" they write them out of passion and want to share that passion with others, and most of them aren't even copies and where just inspired by them, the only thing you can say is the tri beam and turtle wave) the thing is, manga can still be fun, a lot of people read to have fun, not everything needs to have ocean levels of depth, that's just you missing the point of dandadan that others obviously got, no crap your not supposed to take it seriously, having fun with the characters and stories was the whole reason for it and calling it thrash because of that is extremely disingenuous and closed minded, just say it isn't for you because all you did was hyperfocus on some aspects that could be considered generic and miss the point of the series entirely

If you know that, then stop calling it "peak". You're misusing that word. Plus, even for a series trying to offer humor and a goodtime, there's much better out there than Dandadan. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is a good example.

@@taka-yuki-mh first, I never called it peak, the story and plot might not have ocean levels of depth but the characters are human, and I like that, so many story elements I find well done are what made it special for me, any other manga like zetsubo sensei wouldn't make me feel the same way I do for dandadan, not all stories need to be incredibly deep, and dandadan knows that, and focuses on the characters, and for a lot of people and me out there, there was a lot to relate too, and their development as a group and family made it all the more endearing for me to watch, other mangas can't simply have the same appeal another has it's why standing out gives them a lot of popularity, and again, you can easily not like something and aknowledge the value it has, some people don't like beserk and acknowledge that it's still well written, so before calling it thrash, see as to why people like it

You can absolutely say that there are issues, errors, or problems and even be redundant about it while still liking/enjoying and even having something be your favorite. It shows there is improvements needed, and can even show that it is more human for its' errors and/or imperfections. This black and white take is more the issue, where "it can't be good because of things are disliked or not to a level preferred," is more a problem. I say, lets talk about its' issues instead of trying to underrate it and the people supporting it.

I can respect that. I underrate it because of how people treat this series, and that will have a influence on people's standards. Now we're in a position where low quality manga get hype, forgotten about, than move to the next one in line. (Gachiakuta, Kagurabachi, Centuria, etc.)

@@taka-yuki-mh idk about Gachiakuta but kagurabachi added NOTHING to the media and just respected an already existing formula and centuria had me into it in the start with it eldritch horror inspo but they seem really scared to try anything with it so they just made the story more basic wich is a bummer. dandadan is overshadowing some great mangas that are comming out recently but you could have took some other examples especially for kagurabachi that already was hyped up before it's first chapter

It's unfortunate that you didn't like the colourful cast. But hey at least they're more developed than Berserk's. They all grow on you like a group of friends. The point of the sad backstories is more to show how tragedy defines the hatred the spirits use to hold onto their grip on the world. There's plenty there but hey if that sorta stuff isn't to your liking then that's alright. The plot's rather consistent focus on getting his balls back was great and we've finally finished that. Now pushing on toward the unknown still beating up monsters and aliens. It's truly a peak manga

@@taka-yuki-mh besides the initial interaction of popular girl saving nerd from bullies I found the romance and bond very natural and realistic , and very good for a shonen. However I cannot say the same for the story some arcs were straight up bad , space globalization was dragged out and some scenarios were just ridiculous, it takes 3 of them to take down one giant but they are fighting like 3-7 at a time and they somehow come out alive is beyond me. Haunt house arc was bad, board game arc was ok, latest one is looking mid and probably only meant for Momo to grow from her insecurities and confess to okarun. The story is very random which was fine at first but later on it just gets frustrating and I found myself skimming through chapters cause it was dragged out or repetitive from previous ones. Overall I think it’s a decent manga , I did watch a 45 min video in depth about Ayase and Okarun relationship which I felt like explained why I like the relationship so much
