I love this stuff. Basically, where I live, you're not even allowed to ride unless you get a theory exam, then pass basically a set of exercises just like this (including basic things like throttle control, emergency stop, draggin rear break in certain sequences etc) *and* having passed a 30-45 minute driving exam (covering everything from roundabouts to highways to complex crossroads etc). So I like seeing stuff like this being given some love. As much as I believe in freedom, I wholeheartedly also believe training is required.

After enjoying your videos for a while I realized it’s time to subscribe. I think you should mention that more often in your videos. Not like some guys that literally beg for subscribers every 5 Minutes but at least once every other video :) Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

Really appreciate this content - this is much more comprehensive and fun than the ChampU Online course I took. From a fellow filmmaker I truly appreciate the amount of work you put into these videos. Editing these together and rendering the hour long videos from all of these different angles and graphics must have taken weeks if not months...

Looking forward to trying these maneuvers in my area. I hope I can find a lot not to far away from me. Very green beginner. I did take a Course that taught me the basics. I didn't pass the skills test do to nerves. I froze. going to practice your drills here, and get better then go retake it.... Also have the test course layout and plan on practicing this as well

This is awesome! I took the MSF course last year, and it was too much too fast for me, so I didn't complete it. I've signed up to take it again this year, and just bought the booklet so I can get some good practice and build my confidence beforehand!

Do more videos like this please. I'm a new rider and it's helpful. I just bought my 1st bike last week and for the 1st 3 days I was practicing in my yard around the yard and was fine even with throttle going around 15 mph with no issue. Yesterday I fell off on the 1st lap and got back on 10 min later and was thrown off about 10 feet before I even made the 1st lap again. I need help with the clutch when stopping and slowing down I think. Also with turns. I was getting comfortable with it before but now after being thrown off I feel intimidated by the bike.

Watching this I realized that I am an expert biker since day one of learning how to ride a bike, maybe it's because I am a confident person and I like to take risks (and drove straight into the crowded areas on day one😅) or maybe my bicycle riding skills have been transferred to bike riding

Dan, I LOVE your bike, It's so hot lookin! Unfortunately these are pretty expensive in my country, you can't get ANY India under 18-19 grand. Don't know hom much they are overseas but in Europe these are pretty expensive and also hard do find.

Dang, the carbon is that much here His is $14,995 There is also the base one that starts at $12,995 I found them to expensive for what they were and went ducati monster
@TheNightstalker802 жыл бұрын
@@bryanwhite3021 yo Monster is nice too but they also start at about 15 grand for the 900cc model. I‘ll get a Honda NC750X as commuter next year, It’s affordable and can go everywhere, not the most stunning design but honestly I‘m looking for a daily driver that just gets the job done.

When making turns, I always say to myself "Head & Eyes", just like you say "head and eyes turn". Are you looking at the next Pivot Point (turn) or where you want to eventually end up? When I was taking the MSF course, and we had to do the tight U-Turn inside the box, I would turn my head looking over my shoulder, because that's where I wanted to end up. It also forced me to turn/lean the bike.

@DanDanTheFireman - so you mentioned the little cones your was prototyping right? Are they something you're designing? I'd love to get some, that would make setting up courses like this easier.
@Jemmyisgod4 ай бұрын
Does the drill book have more info? This video is awesome , but as a beginner rider I have so many questions 😂 The set up is great, but then “righty righty” is “okay so just do these two loops” which for an advanced rider makes sense. For me, what should the throttle be doing? How fast should I be going? What gear should I be in? What should the clutch be doing? Little things like that help me wrap my brain around it. Just curios! It’s great you do this either way!

Best content you can watch on here is “Jerry palladino ride like a pro” and “be the boss of your motorcycle” (Robert Simmons). Both those channels will demonstrate and teach you all you can ever know about riding a motorcycle from a 200lb 125cc to 1000lb dressed out bikes.
