Having female dancers as their partner in the choreography is one of their best decision ever. It’s not usually a common thing in kpop boy groups, and I’ve only seen a few, especially in 4th gen. I really don’t understand some engenes who hates it, I think mostly k-engenes (?) Like.. they’re not yours gurl, they’re idols, we’re supposed to give love and support to them!! I honestly don't know why the choreography got hate. I think having the female dancers tells the story of the song very well, and the movements expresses a kind of grace that tells the intensity of the meaning behind the song.
