I have a condition similar but much more aggressive (seborrhea dermatitis) and I have gotten much relief from the flakes by shampooing with Nizoral Scalp recovery and using Apple Cider Vinegar as a 2-3 minute rinse on my scalp. The flakes don’t return in a few days, sometimes it will stay flake free for a week or more. You can’t scratch his scalp before using this, it will burn. The shampoo helps dissolve the flakes and a light rubbing of the scalp while shampooing (nothing rough) does wonders. I put a dab on my eyebrows and behind my ears if the skin irritates there also.

We will try adding in the apple cider vinegar into our shampoo routine. The Nizoral shampoo is one of his many prescription meds.

@@kymslyfe7323 this one isn’t a prescription. Nizoral is the prescription. Nizoral Scalp Recovery is another line. I let it sit on my scalp about 10-20 Minutes ( I have alot of hair) and then shampoo out. It works better than the prescription for me. I now purchase it online even on Amazon.

I scratch off camera two days and then the third day is our video day. He doesn't complain about the itching much. If we go more than two days without some form of care. I will see him start to scratch a little. I'm glad that my videos were able to help you rekax.

He should start using Sulfur 8 Shampoo and Hair grease to help with this problem. I used it when I would do my moms hair and she got relief for a couple of weeks before it was time to scratch again.
