Yes!! I do not recommend that length of time at all. Also, her hair is only shampooed when she comes to the salon. It would not be as bad if she did cleanses at home. She also has a prescribed shampoo. It helps but could be better if used more often.

Lord knows I'm a lazy natural wearing braids mostly but why the hell would anyone leave any type of protective style in pass 8 weeks...thats next level laziness. And if you are going to wear styles longer than at least wash your hair...we as black women have to take better care of our hair. The amount time invested to loose up all that buildup and the treatments needed moving forward to improve her scalp aint worth it!
