I don’t speak Norwegian but I agree completely with the man holding the giant axe.

he he. He is telling about how the dane axe was used, and that his main character in his new book series were using that weapon

Great to hear you speaking your own language. Looks like interesting history. Perhaps you could do this in English?

What a beautiful shape that 'axe' is...my two most useful tools are my knife and my axes...however mine are for splitting firewood..not for battle.

That was interesting to see. I could get the general idea of what was said. Given the context but I still have no idea what was actually said.

The Danes had their axe, and knowledge of how to organiaze an army fore the modern warfare of the day. Probebly much of it learnt through fighting the German emperor all the time. Like Torstein Knarresmed, people along the sea route to the north, Norway, had their boat and knowledge of open ocean travel. This took them to Sibiria, Iceland, Greenland and ultimately to north America. That´s an incredible amount of dangerous ocean to explore in open boats...not bad

Beautiful tools if you're hoping for combat. Its more likely that your life will be destroyed with the push of a button, a keyboard stroke, chemical or biological warfare. What you're doing is theatrics to draw people in to purchase your books.

He is demonstrating how a Dane axe would be used during the Viking age, and why it was such a feared weapon, this has nothing to do with modern warfare.

Det er fedt at høre Bjørn tale norsk, når man er vant til engelsk.

Har snart läst ut "Jomsviking" i svensk översättning. När kommer nästa bok ut på svenska? Det är bråttom för de är beroendeframkallande!
