Deja vu. Your other video of this was like my second video I watched of you before I had any idea who you were. As soon as I saw you up on that overlook I knew where you were and the hike you had and the little dip in the water. Definitely seems tighter this time but I still am in awe of what you folks can paddle. As a very recreational kayaker but avid hiker and seeing rivers like this on hikes and thinking nobody could paddle it, you definitely opened my eyes to what one can do. Thanks for taking us along.

Hey Dane, Love you stuff. Could you do a video breaking down when you use your Nirvana vs your Z3. I would love to hear your thought process on boat selection.

Keep up the great content, I love that you break down that intense ferry so that other paddlers can push their metal.

We were hiking in Yosemite this summer and it was Crazy how it was 100 degrees and then at night frosty. But yeah the water was great. No kayaks that time but one day.

Who needs football when you can watch Dane Jackson shred Cally? And great job raising money/awareness for the fire victims. Some friends lost their home last year and that puts sport and things in perspective.

God that looks like fun. Things that fun are usually illegal or end in someone getting pregnant. Since kayaking is neither illegal nor causes pregnancy, more people should try kayaking! (but not so many people that the rivers become impossibly congested)

This was fucking lovely, I really think the best kayak could be the hybrid mix of raw river audio adn then a bit of tunes on the sections that don' t need beta, cus we want that bit, but when you're just flowing through rapids, I would enjoy some tunes :D Can we get some Dane in Europe action?

I parked near your van when you were paddling this back in May 2017. I wished I could've kayaked the lower easier section, but I was on my honeymoon. Wife wouldn't have liked me leaving her alone haha

I know rattlesnakes are supposed to rattle, but the California ones must be deaf or something- I was scouting a rapid on the Goodyear bar section of the North Fork Yuba and I stepped right next to one. No warning or anything, I think the snake was as surprised as me lol. Really lucky it missed biting me.

They learned that some humans will kill them so they have evolved to not rattle
