A brilliant song by Daneliya (now living in Boston USA) she is showing her full vocal range together with her co-written lyrics. This is her first release under her rebrand as just Daneliya (she is no londer using her surname in promotions). Great reaction Tee many thanks.

She’s seventeen, and most people her age are going through this very thing. First she has parents, and then guardians, all the while working with the production company. All of these influences pulling and pushing her in different directions, she’s trying to find her inner artist. Breaking free, means taking risks, and she may have had people around her who don’t trust her instincts and are limiting her creative voice. I trust that she will find her way.

Daneliya!❤ I love the song itself. It is quite sad, but I think being disillusioned by this industry is very normal. I would say first and always that if singing doesn’t make her happy and/or is not good for her health then she simply shouldn’t do it. But music seems to be the plan right now so my hope is that her feelings have been more about a lack of control and empowerment. Furthermore, I would hope that her new management and these writers and producers are able to give her control over her music and empower her. Then maybe music can be more fun for her again and she wouldn’t feel this way about it all.

"Tied" expresses the struggle of feeling trapped and controlled by external forces, yearning for freedom, and a genuine sense of self. It portrays the desire to break free from the expectations and pressures that have dictated the singer's life, and the fear of the unknown that accompanies that longing for liberation. Furthermore, it was written by DANELIYA, Eestbound, Bryn McCutcheon, Kirstyn Johnson & Augustwoton. She started singing when she was 10 years old. In 2017, she auditioned for and won season 4 of The Voice Kids Ukraine. She was Kazakhstan’s first-ever participant at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Belarus, where she finished 6th overall. In 2019, she competed in the lone season of The World’s Best, finishing in the top 8. In June 2020, she auditioned for America’s Got Talent. She advanced to the live shows, and then to the Finals. She finished in the Bottom 5 of the Top.

While i am thrilled Daneliya is singing about, IMO, how she feels, it saddens me she feels her hands will always be tied to a person she doesn't recognize. Her vocals, as always, are beautiful and filled with emotion. Her musical journey has been long and filled with so much promise and I think this is a great step in the right direction. Music is always at its best when it is personal to the artist. Hopefully Daneliya will use this song to accept her past and move forward to a happier future.
