It's so crazy how different people with different skin types can feel so different about the same product. I was watching Steff’s Beauty Stash video on this bomb & she said how she prefers to wear it as a primer, and our girl Tania here prefers it as a foundation.

I just love that! After I review a product I always watch other people's videos so I can learn and see how they like to use it! It gives me a better perspective and understanding of the product and different skintypes! I love that about makeup!

When I read that the SAIE is a very light coverage I passed as I most often use concealer to conceal my under eye darkness, and discoloration on my face… with that I feel it might not be for me. I do not like a heavy concealer however I need coverage so for now I went with the MUF that you love and sitting for when I can do my make up ( tore my rotator cuff in a car accident ) so doing my make up and hair is very difficult at this time… Thank you for the lovely review…. So happy you decided to have a channel to help us out as these products are not cheap ,)

I ordered my DM balm! I love her yummy primer and I have the bronze one however, it really blends out clear so I don’t think you need both, just my opinion. I’m so excited for this because I love the salt sneaky balm but it is soooo glowy so I think this will be better for summer. Also, the salt one runs out very quickly. Thanks for the review!

Great video as always! I had a gift card for my bday and got the DM balm powder. I got shade 3 and the universal one. Like you I’ve had to play around with how to use such a versatile product. I love how innovative it really is. I used too much at first and played around with foundation and without. I like it better without. It’s really really humid and hot here this week and I used the universal shade to control shine. A little bit does go a long way, just like her Yummy Skin Foundation.

I didn't even know there was a universal shade! That sounds like it would be an amazing primer. I think you and I had the same process trying to figure out this product, but it is a really fun, interesting good product!

@@TaniaBWells yes the one before shade #1 is the universal! I like it with a dry sponge personally but it’s sooooo hot and humid here that adjustments have to be made to most complexion products. I also have to wear several layers of sunscreen every day and reapply as needed. The other day I used the Rose Inc foundation as a base and used a wet sponge for the DM tinted balm powder over it. It looked SO pretty! I did lightly powder after 30 min but only bec of the heat. I love products that are challenging, in a fun way. I want to see how it works w the Kosas next. I think the trick is to use light layers and to stamp it in rather than buff.

I’m honestly shocked because of how it seemed heavy at the first try, but I think you’re right for you to use it like a foundation and only where needed very lightly. Your skin looks healthy and has a nice sheen/inner glow. Very impressed and I didn’t think this would be something that would interest me. Thanks for the very thorough and honest review ❤️

I have never tried a balm foundation so I’m ver curious. I’m still on the about it. I did purchase the Saie concealer and I like it, more then I thought I would. I do set it as well with the Saie powder. Everything looks great on you. Thank you for the wear test. Appreciate it.

The most intriguing part about the danessa myricks balm powder, is the special ingredient it has.(its called "upsalite" I think) & not many products on the market include this new ingredient & when u do some research on it, it's very intriguing! It's more oil absorbing than talc & isnt supposed to be "cakey" ...so def interested in the balm powder.. it really did look great on your skin! Did it end up "drying down"? Bc I know in the beginning you wiped ur face & had so much product on your fingers but I didn't know if it set down eventually? Bc I had a foundation that feels like I can wipe right off.. but I also dont like something that sets so much that you feel like it's a mask! Great review though!

It does set down, and because i didn’t use as much the second time I didn’t find that it was coming off on my fingers! I do think if you use too much it could do that..

I am a teacher about to embark on summer and I have severely oily skin in the summer so I’m hopeful this could be like a very easy no makeup product to wear on its own! Maybe it will keep the oil at bay while just evening tone.

It does very well w oily skin! I find that you just have to give it time to set down and do it’s thing for about 10 min. It amazingly doesn’t completely disappear or separate when I get hit with a wall of heat.
