I know Danessa is a makeup artist and many of her products speak to that market. With that said, I don’t think this is meant for the everyday consumer/makeup wearer at all. It says portrait photoshoot to me, which would be dope af. But this isn’t something I would use otherwise. Thank you for your review and the eye swatches, Kelsee! Very helpful.

Thank you! They definitely have their place. Having the flakes in the base is quite convenient. In my opinion, a synthetic flat shader would be better as a natural hair brush would absorb the gel a bit whereas the synthetic bristles would not. Great video!

Thank you! Yes, I synthetic brush works wonders with these too! The brush that I used worked fine, so I don’t have a preference with the brush type for this particular product as long as it’s undyed! Smooches 😘

Hi Kelsee! I bought the Hot Lava and Star Burst. I'm over 50, but I still cannot resist glitter. Anyway, I like to wear them as a wash of color over a matte shadow. I apply them with a flat fluffy brush so that the glitter is very diffuse and not so dramatic. I love the look! Of course, you look fabulous in everything! Thanks for the honest review and yes a few is all you need.

I think these flakes would tear my eyes up. Some shimmers do that -- make my eyes red. I just think the flakes would be worse. Which is sad because they're stunning! 🤩

Beautiful as always.......I wanted to ask how long do they last before they go bad and do they actually go bad or just turn into liquid and are still useable. I ask because I have seen a few videos now where people have said they go liquidy.

I bought a ton of them and I have used them a few times. I like them with a silicone adhesive brush. I think mostly because I spent too long cleaning my other brushes when I used it with them 🤣 You definitely have to want that chunky monkey shimmer on the lid. I usually try and do different looks so I don’t want to overuse them by wearing out a good thing. Especially now that they’re at Sephora so everyone is using them. I love a chunky shimmer so I agree that they aren’t an every day thing. I love to put it over a black winged liner. It’s BEAUTIFUL that way (fyi).

I love mine!!! But its SOOOOOO hard and sticky to put on my eyelids 🥺 it's 100% an eye shadow to use over a regular eye shadow. HOWEVER I did one day use as a eyeliner on my lids and it was amazing! Also THANK YOU for an HONEST review!!

Always a 👍 before I watch the vid 😉 Oh dear, I don't like these. Sorry everyone, 🙈 In my, very, very humble opinion, they look messy and unfinished on the eyes. I totally understand Miss Denessa wanting to create something special and unique, and she absolutely succeeded with these. For pics, ie : Instagram etc, th looks will be fabulous (but I would question how much photoshop will have contributed to the final look). Love always 💗💗💗💗💗
