Interesting, if that druid never popped the secret, Dane wouldn't be able to empty his hand and eventually die to fatigue. That'd be the weirdest victory ever.
@KrivitskyM2 жыл бұрын
The Druid threw the game by continuously giving Dane minions to trade into. With their 40+ HP, Druid would never die to whatever board Dane was able to build, and while Dane had other minions, Mecha'thun couldn't be activated. I actually think one Wild Pyromancer might be a necessary inclusion to kill off Rogue's minions in this exact scenario

The secret didn't even really matter. I know he didn't exactly know Dane had Mecha'thun, but all the druid had to do was hero power and pass once Dane hit fatigue.

@@click9914 Poisonous pyro one-shots himself. That's kind of a pity for other decks, let's say, but for Mecha'thun it's just on point.

Having 40 cards makes your draw inconsistent. If you have a few key cards in your deck then having 40 cards makes you less likely to draw those.
@Skullhawk132 жыл бұрын
You want less cards to be more consistent. It’s actually bad 99% of the time. That’s why patches is so strong, You remove a card from your deck for greater consistency. 0 Mana Draw 1 would be in every deck in the game.
@zsirblade2 жыл бұрын
You have to add a 3 mana 3/4 Vanilla minion to your deck and then 9 other cards. So you dilute your draws to get the extra 10 max hp.
@tarille10432 жыл бұрын
Less cards = Draw your good cards/win condition faster and more consistently. More cards are only good for games where you're grinding out an opponent into fatigue (Which rarely happens in today's ComboStone where there are OTK's everywhere, even in Standard. Not to mention things like Warlock and Warrior quests which dominate grind decks)
@protoss57582 жыл бұрын
@@Skullhawk13 Patches is good because he's a 1/1. Any gain from consistency from pulling him is made up for by going -1 in card advantage if you draw him.
