Super Critical 3 (SC3) control mode of a gas cooler. This mode is used in transcritical CO₂ refrigeration systems, where the system operates above the critical point of CO₂ (31.1°C or 87.8°F), meaning CO₂ is neither a liquid nor a gas but in a supercritical state. In SC3 mode, the gas cooler's control is optimized for maintaining the most efficient operation of the system by adjusting the gas cooler outlet pressure or temperature, depending on ambient conditions and system load. This mode is designed to enhance energy efficiency and ensure stable operation under varying environmental conditions.
