Dang NGUYEN: Insular Cortex Epilepsy

I did have this ecstatic seizure. When it happens the aura came with enormous blissful feeling that engulfed me entirely. I feel like a flow of soothing calming energies that feels so majestic like I'm connected with everything. The feeling was godly and undescribable. Then in complex partial onset it gets more intense to the point I feel like electric running through my brain and my coccyx back and forth several times. The electric feeling gets more intense till it fills all my spine and my brain then I'll go to secondary generalized tonic clonic. The very first full blown seizure I had I can't control my laughter. I keep laughing intermittently while talking to my doctor. Doctors who've seen me were puzzled as they didn't know what type of seizure to classify me. I said at first it felt good then I fits. Then I feel super anxious and feel good like they're fighting with each other. Then I'll go tonic clonic. I feel the choking sensation in my aura phase and postictal phase. My heart were pounding and that choking sensation will mingled with anxiety feeling for hours before settled itself. My MRI returned normal. I didn't went for EEG yet. I experienced my full-blown seizure in January this year (2022). Never had seizures before in my entire life. Got seizure after my near fatal motorcycle crash in 2020. I almost died with open book pelvic fracture, blood pooling in my lungs (lung collapses) and lost a lot of blood! Received 8 pints of blood. Within these two years I've been in and out of hospital frequently.
