Not so unknown really as winner of 1980 (I think) Chopin competition.

In 1980, he won the X International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, becoming the first pianist from Asia to do so. He has received particular acclaim for the sonority and poetry in his interpretations of Chopin and the French repertoire.

This is just a simple charming little waltz not a big dramatic piece however this pianist is such a gifted performer the extra drama he adds in this piece sounds really good

woaw it is VERY different than Ashekanzy's interpretation, too much for me, i don't see anyone dancing on that. Though I like the ending. I'll stick to his nocturnes.
