I know Hiyoko's a brat, but I honestly think she idolized Mahiru. To have your idol up and die like that... I'm pretty sure it would be traumatizing. And with her personality... I definitely don't blame her for hating Fuyuhiko. Yeah, I think she's pushing it too far, but I don't blame her for harboring those feelings. And what I appreciate is that even she's shocked that Fuyuhiko went to such extents to try and ask for forgiveness, and she actually considers what Mahiru would say and not just ignore it. Even though she's still rude to him, I think she's actually trying to change. At least she says she's willing to cooperate with him.

My initial assertion is wrong. Yuki's assertion is wrong. The original version of Danganronpa (the beta), was called Distrust and was extremely violent and gory. It included the system where all of your actions lead to a different person being murdered each time (with Kyoko being the one who died first each time.) They decided that the fanbase wasn't going to grow with what they had, so they changed the setting, upped the colors, made things less brutal, made each outcome the same no matter what you did, changed designs of course, changed some of how things worked, and then they decided that pink blood was more fitting than red. That is the true reason (I believe so anyways).
