This ending is so good I forgot most of the characters are going to die 😞 Something I noticed in this is that some of the characters that are in the same scene are already on good terms in the prologue or are friends already (Shion and Yumeo, Denshi and Akira, Katsu and Hide) so I think characters in the same scene that haven’t interacted in the prologue will become friends in future chapters such as Chiemi and Chou, or Bani, Kiyoshi and Otome !! (This may not make sense lmao) Also another thing I noticed is that Tomoya and Izanami are the only two characters that are alone in this

Since most of these people have met during school and work and stayed friends, I think both Tomoya and Izumi's friends have both passed/never had one. Since Izumi hates sinners, (and people who kill are usually deemed one) and Tomoya's hate for illegal jobs (that oddly feels like personal hatred to me) could also support it as well.

Interesting lil theory: I found it interesting that Hanako and Akira smile at each other in the end, and how Akira fades into Hanako. This indicates a relationship, but Akira doesn’t recognize Hanako when she sees Kou. And this is a bit of a crack theory, BUT: What if, Akira forgets the ppl she kills? If she killed Hanako, she was haunted by the guilt so much so she completely erased her from her mind. It could also be possible that she’s killed some relatives or friends of the awardees, since she’s likely to kill important people, but she does not recognize them. Also, how could Denshi know Hanako yet she doesn’t? As for Ryuusei and Yukie, I argue that they’re just simply ppl she didn’t kill. In fact, they might’ve died from police as they were trying to end the yakuza once and for all. She dreams of them to keep her in their mind as she misses them, while she simply feels haunted and tormented by memories of Hanako as she was her friend. Yet she killed her. It’s a bit random how (if we speculate Hanako is 17-18 years old, since she wears the school uniform and Hanako means ‘flower child’) an 18 year old and 12 year would be that close, but Akira was close with Ryuusei and Yukie, who were even older, so (THIS IS SO RANDOM I’M SORRY)
